I had a fantastic experience at Kindl Stuben in Berlin! I tried the Wiener Schnitzel and Königsberger meatballs, and both were incredible. The veal in the schnitzel was perfectly tender, and the meatball sauce was exceptional.
I visited during their open mic night (every Sunday), and the atmosphere was lively and packed. The open mic presenter was engaging, and all the performers were local artists, giving the night a genuine, speakeasy vibe. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the chance to connect with so many friendly people.
The owners, Ahmet and Omer, were incredibly welcoming and hardworking, making sure drinks were served quickly. The place was clean, including the restrooms, which is always a plus. I also learned they host an annual event with local artists and musicians happening every May; last year’s "Kindl Fiction" event is on YouTube and definitely worth watching.

Read moreWe went there 1 hour 20min before the closing time they have on Google but they had already closed down. We didn't really have any other options as it was late night and we went there specifically for this place.

However I hope my side is also understood. Deciding to find an open place and driving there, thinking it closes at 02.00 am to find it close at 00.40 is not a nice experience and I don't think I should be blamed for trusting the declared open hours in any...
Read moreI ordered the Schnitzel and an Apple Strudel. Easy order, right? The Schnitzel arrived cold and bathed in the green salads' dressing but also the potato salad it came with, had the weirdest texture of mashed potatoes ??? The Schnitzel was so sad, tasted as if it was cooked in super old oil and I had the impression the cook would rather go home than put any effort in it. 20 euros for a Schnitzel is charged in the Michellin star restaurants. It should definitely not be the case here. And 5 euros for a strudel you have to look up with a magnifying glass, is also not justified. Anyway, I am unfortunately still sick to my stomach after eating the food and I genuinely hope that I won't get food poisoning....
