The weirdest experience I have ever had in a bar in my entire life. We ordered four beers and they were served without foam. We just asked for foam and the staff was absolutely rude to us, as if we were being too picky or annoying. Pilsner Urquell is supposed to be served with foam, they even have a sing at the bar announcing it…we just wanted to enjoy our beer and patiently asked more than three times for more foam. First a girl treat us very rudely afterwards a guy also said it wasn’t his job to do that and in the end one of us showed them the poster that said Pilsner Urquell should be served with foam. They understood that taking that sign from the bar to show them what we were asking for was violence!!! So while we were finally just drinking our beer at the terrace the security guys asked us to leave the place. Amazing, totally absurd!!! I honestly don’t understand why it’s so difficult to just treat costumers nicely and give them what they ask for when they order politely. I’ve never been kicked out of a bar before. This didn’t make any sense. The staff of this place should learn how to do their job, and how to treat...

I had a very hostile experience with a staff member. When I tried to pay by card, the bartender aggressively raised her voice and later grabbed my hand while I was using the card reader to push it away, which was completely inappropriate and emotionally distressing. When I expressed my concern at being touched against my will, she became defensive and even shouted at me multiple times. I spoke to a wellness officer who acknowledged that the bartender's behavior was inappropriate but excused it as a result of her 'difficult personality.' The bartender then interrupted our conversation, shouting profanities at both of us before storming off (mind you, the wellness officer and I had moved to a completely different side of the bar at this point which means the bartender actively went out of her way to listen in on our private conversation)
The entire situation left me feeling overwhelmed; not only had I been touched against my will and verbally harassed but I was shocked to find that the bar would tolerate and excuse such behaviour from their staff.
Long story short: Think twice before visiting this...
Read moreAs someone who’s been living in Berlin since 2012, I’ve been to the most iconic bars and had the chance to discover all the good hidden spots in the city. Klunkerkranich is by far the best rooftop bar in Berlin! Countless times I’ve been there, you can go with family/friends/date! My favorite spot to enjoy a sexy sunset looking over the reddish orange rooftops of Neukölln! A huge outdoor area, that you will always struggle to find a place in the weekends! Two areas to listen to all different kinds of music! Events happen there every week! Yesterday I was there to attend a Jazz event, it was great like always! The indoor area has a unique decor, with discoballs hanging from the ceiling by tree branches! Some laidback old couches to enjoy the music from an angle along with a wide variety of drinks that are served there ranging from a simple beer to shots and cocktails! One of the most friendly hosts ever also! The place is very friendly to all races, LGBT...etc, it shows the true diversity of Berlin! This place never fails my expectations and can’t wait to go back there again for another...
