I recently visited a restaurant near one of the biggest S-Bahn stations and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the location is very convenient and easy to reach, which is always a big plus for me.
The food was also quite tasty and well-prepared, with some unique and interesting flavors that I enjoyed. I especially appreciated the variety of options available on the menu, catering to a range of different tastes and preferences.
However, my experience with the personnel was a bit disappointing. When we arrived with our two kids, they seemed a bit annoyed and flustered, as if they were not expecting young children. Despite the fact that it was 4pm and the restaurant was almost completely empty, they had trouble finding a suitable table for us and seemed to rush us through the ordering process.
Overall, I would give this restaurant a rating of 3 out of 5. The restaurant itself seems to be quite old, the interior is tacky, the entire feel is very inauthentic and quite a few dishes on the menu are germanised to cater to the local taste.
Since authentic food is on the rise in Berlin, I wish the shop would follow the trend an be proud of the Persian heritage, because the food was phenomenal. The authentic dishes we ordered were awesome and took the spot light off the grill platter.
Will be revisiting this place to explore more of the...
Read moreI do not understand the poor reviews. We came with a big group (11 people) based on the recommendation of two Persian colleagues. The food was fantastic and the service friendly and attentive. Sure, you can find cheaper food in Berlin, but it is not an expensive restaurant. The group split two Super gemischter Teller as an appetizer. My husband and I split the Chelo Kabab Hafis and Chelo Khoresh Gheymeh as main dishes. I recommend them all. One of my Persian friends recommended putting a pat of butter inside the rice for the kebab and dusting it with this red powder on the table -- both things really added a nice flavor component. The tea was quite nice. The dugh was interesting, but a little too...
