McDonald's — Restaurant in Berlin

There are near to 40 McDonald's Restaurants just only in Berlin, you can find them all over in each part of the big city. And by the way Berlin is like a big village cluster, so you can call the McDonald is the pub of modern times, just without any alkohol! And you can find any kind of people overthere: the poor single woman with her hungry kid, the craftsman, the blue collar workers and the richy rich too. Everybody love it, because it's easy to access, easy to choose and eat fast or slow. And the food is international normed, you can eat at any place of the world. Somebody goes to there just for have a really good cup of coffee, without any adds robbering your money. They have very economic order procedures: you can do with the drive in, on the main desk or on the touch screen with waitress service. The last crazy thing is the order via your smartphone app. This is really easy and clean: just sit down, open the McDonald-App and make your order, put the number of the table you sit and wait for your meal. Ok, the first order is a little bit tricky, but if you are not so hungry, you will solve the fight with you low performer intellect. Other thing you really need and never want miss is the free toilet service. Depending on the really heavy traffic each restaurant has, the toilet service at any of them is really good. The Neukölln restaurant is a little bit old, but the location on a very busy street is very good and alltime it's big enough to get a free parking and a free seat, just only the daily lunch time could be a little bit hard, but than you can sit outside and enjoy looking the never-stopping ADHS-kids with their...

I had an extremely upsetting experience at this McDonald’s branch. A staff member behaved in a clearly racist and discriminatory way toward us because we were wearing hijab. When we asked him politely to treat us with respect, he responded with, “If you don’t want to be here, then just go.”

This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. We felt targeted, unwelcome, and disrespected solely because of our appearance and beliefs. No customer should have to experience such treatment.

I’m reporting this incident because I believe McDonald’s, as an international brand, should hold its staff accountable for discriminatory behavior. I will also be forwarding this to the company’s corporate office and relevant anti-discrimination authorities if needed

Stopped by the McDonald’s near Premier Inn Hotel Süd a couple of times during my stay — it’s a convenient spot for a quick bite or coffee when you don’t feel like heading into the city. The place was clean and fairly modern inside, with quick service even during busier hours. The staff were polite and got the order right both times, which isn’t always guaranteed at fast-food chains. Food quality was exactly what you’d expect — consistent, fresh fries and a properly made burger. It’s also open late, which came in handy after long days out.
