Melitta Sundström — Restaurant in Berlin

Worst bar service we have ever tried. Came in at midnight and waited for 15 min alone in the bar, there were 50+ people in and outside the bar and only 1 bartender + one dish-carrier, the bartender kept making drinks and the dish-carrier did relativily little to help out. After we had tried to look like people who really would like to ask a question for a long time, we had to call on one of the guys, I asked if they had a invisible line or what was going on, the dish-carrier finally said something like you should just take a table and order from there, but there was no one watching all those many tables as they were both inside and outside, and a lot of people came and went, when we decided to leave in anger, there were 6-8 people standing around the bar without any of the guys saying anything to them or doing anything to help them. This is why you should never have a bar where you just employ ignorant people and then leave...

Like this space. It had a bit of a group bar experience or maybe a little bit of a venue-y place where you could habe a band play, too.

The bartenders that day were really cute and nice. I like my drinks.

Bathrooms are far away and yes, they are one flight of stairs up and then another story up to the left through some wings doors.

Edit on 2/9/23 to reply to the owner teplying to me: I really don't like the set up. The bathrooms are part of a different venue, right? I might be specific about this, and the bathroom looks cute (it is all gender, which is great!) but it is... well, not such a great bathroom in my opinion. The two sinks available are wonky and tiny and the water coming from them is as cold as ice. I am sorry that this is maybe only bathroom you have. Better than nothing. I definitely...

Not coming back here again. Went there twice, to check if the first time was just a bad day. Turned out the second time was even worse. The waiters are really not nice. Arrogant and don't even know what is on the menu (menu is also impossible to read as it is so scratched). They also sat us compelty in the back next to the toilets, lovely place to spend an evening? The cocktails taste like sweet water or just like nothing, beer comes with very little foam, as it's been waiting to be served for way too long. The place is super hyped up but for what reason...
