First time having brunch outside in the sun this year ☀️ this place was apprently super popular as it was really crowded! Especially loved the pancakes and the roasted baby potatoes 😍 #brunch #breakfast #pancakes #berlin #berlinfood #berlinfoodie #berlinfoodblog #berlinfoodblogger #berlinfoodguide

I came across this location by accident while scrolling through my food related instagram influencers. As I am always on the lookout for a good shakshuka and all the pictures look pretty good, I decided to visit this place and try theirs. Sadly tho, I was not impressed by the place. Location wise, its actually quite a nice place and the dishes coming out of the kitchen look visually appealing, including (or especially) the Shakshuka. But what the pictures of the dishes, both here and elsewhere, dont tell.. is that the portion is A LOT smaller than what you get pretty much anywhere else in the city. And neither the price nor the taste makes up for that, quite the opposite. The price they are asking for when you order a single Shakshuka with all three extras will be on a level that gets you 2 main dinner dishes pretty much everywhere else in this area. Its absolutely insane. And while it is a pretty tasty Shakshuka, its not outstanding or extra good, so thats not a reason to pay the price they ask for either. I am usually quite fine to pay a little extra for quality food, good ambiente or extra good taste but this one, at least for me, was not it.

food was ok but the service terrible

Edit: So since I'm passing for the liar hearing from the owner that I've never been in the local belle aliance; I will explain carefully the reason of my negative review about the service. We arrived in four people with a reservation, a Saturday brunch time. The place was relatively full. From the beginning there were errors with the order, requested sparkling water, we got a still one , 1 large maracuja schorle and two were brought, one large and one small. I said it was okay because one of the other guests would have drunk it and the waitress brought a third one. I explained that I did not want that, I had asked for one but to avoid waste I had accepted the second. The waitress brought it back quite annoyed and another waitress came back trying to give us the third juice again. I explained the situation again, she understood and took it away. When ordering, we asked them to pay attention and note that there was a pregnant woman at the table, to be careful with the eggs that she need them well cooked. Of course it came wrong, a poached egg instead of scrambled. We point it out and they changed it. Then we asked for a bottle of prosecco. They forgot about it, after half an hour we asked for it again and the waitress came back to us with the menu saying that the price was that one. We replied that we knew very well how much it cost and we wanted it anyway. She brought it to us and said she had to open it behind the bar, otherwise it would explode ? We now hopeless said it was okay. They brought us the bottle WARM. We asked for some ice. They brought ice bigger than a flûte. We left with the certainty of never returning unless the staff would be trained to give at least an...

Very bad experience! I reserved a table for two on their website, arriving there they said that they couldnt find my reservation so they put us on the same table with two other people.

In the meantime they managed to put the other two on a separate table. But even so after a couple of minutes they asked us to change tables. We did so. After more minutes they asked again for us to change (at this time we said that we had been changed before so they let us there). More minutes go by they ask again to put other two people at our table (which again we said ok).

In between that and after being 25 minutes sit, we tried calling the waiter, to which we got a rude answer of “calm down”. 10 minutes later we tried again with another waiter to which we heard again to calm down.

It was after 40 minhtes and calling again them that we finally could order.

Overall very rude and unprepared (and the reservation system...
