Original review:

I'm sure they're hand making their pasta and using really good ingredients. The food is good. It's just not that special. And for this price you can get high quality ingredients AND interesting dishes. It all sort of felt like something I could make at home.

The charcuterie was good, but that's not really something they cook there… just well sourced and delicious ingredients. But still, it was good! The rest of the food was pretty good but nothing special. And at 20€ for a plate of pasta, I expected better.

The service was very nice but also pretty bad. I got the 30€ menu that came with two glasses of wine. The two glasses were served at the same time (and I already had a cocktail). We were so confused about who the glasses were for, someone else at the table drank one of the glasses and so when I expected my next glass she said she already had served it. Really confusing, never heard of anyone getting two glasses of wine at once… why?

Also one person at our table got a glass of water while waiting for the rest of the group to show up and we were charged 7€ for a bottle of water. Besides it being wrong, who charges 7€ for a bottle of water…? They gave us the 7€ back after we noticed it.

Honestly the place isn't bad but it's not great....

Overall not a good experience.

The food was good, but not good enough to warrant what they charge for it. The pasta was overcooked. There are other Italian restaurants in Berlin that either have the same quality food for a lower price, or much higher quality food at the same price.

The wine selection is good, but I also ordered a Negroni and it was the worst one I’ve had in Berlin, so stay away from the cocktails.

Our server continually forgot drinks we ordered, or left us waiting for 15 minutes.

The server also made me, as a woman, feel incredibly uncomfortable. I wish I could go into more details, but under German law I can unfortunately get into trouble for publicly saying what our server did to me. I do not recommend this restaurant for ladies especially.

This place has possibly the best pasta I've ever eaten. Incredibly fresh, with lots of yummy little mushrooms and other things. The restaurant is quite unconventional, they don't have a menu - the man serving us listed three different pasta dishes.

Right after I started eating, the man came up to me and told me I was eating my pasta wrong and that it was very important I twirl it around my fork instead of cutting it up, which made me laugh a lot.

We were there in the middle of the afternoon, so it was empty, but I'm told it's a fairly popular place, as it should be. I paid around 15 Euros for my pasta and it was worth every cent.

The restaurant is situated along a street where there are plenty of other restaurants and bars, which makes it a nice place to watch people passing by.
