Not quite there... Last IWD (8th March) I had lunch here with a friend of mine. She ordered "cannelloni fritti", which were very good, right taste, right presentation and not oily. On the other hand I ordered "pappardelle mit kalbsragout" and wasn´t as lucky... the pasta portion was generous but the sauce did not taste particularly good. It lacked taste and was too watery so that in the beginning I ate only pasta and in the end, pasta in a lukewarm soup where the "kalb" was nowhere to be found. I was hoping to wipe that taste out of my mouth with dessert. Great place. A German woman went to Italy, found a man who can make truly excellent pasta and dragged him back to Weisensee. Everybody wins! They serve lunch. And you can take pasta home with you. It is really world class pasta....
