Food: Normal, as one would cook at home, portions are decent to small and VERY, VERY expensive . There's absolutely nothing that could explain the very high prices. On the contrary, I could say easily matched and overtaken by the Kreuzberg joints. Grilled meat was as expected, with my partner's lamb skewer very nicely cooked, soft and tender; the side potatoes were dry and not as enjoyable as the rice. You also get a quarter of a tomato and 3-4cm of a hot green pepper, both grilled; two bites of each. As a side dish you get a mixed salad which is pre-seasoned and, while I enjoyed it, many might not due to a heavy vinaigrette sauce. We took a tarama serving, reminiscent of home made one, which was actually the star of the evening as the main course was nothing special.

Drinks: Better not take any. At EUR7.5 for a non-name 0.2l glass of wine, EUR7 for a 0.75l bottle of water and EUR3.5 for a 0.2l Coke it's a total rip off. They are focusing at extracting more money form the side attractions while completely forgetting that people come in for the food.

Serving/atmosphere: Serving was normal, the waiters were all attentive and we managed just fine with our broken German. But they were all so loud, welcoming friends from the street as the restaurant was their own home. We had the disadvantage to sit 2-3m away from the entrance and that somehow ruined our visit. So you get the Kreuzberg service in a 'wanna be' more stylish place at way too high prices.

For Turkish food better go to any joint in Kreuzberg: Hasir and Adana will do just fine. And you won't pay...

Wir waren gestern zu zweit dort. Gut besuchter Laden, wir bestellten kaltes und warmes Meze. Es hat ganz gut geschmeckt, hab schon wesentlich besseres gegessen aber es war gut.

Der service ist top- die Kellner haben witz und ein offenes Auge (aber etwas mehr für weibliche Kundschaft 😅)

Was ich noch nie irgendwo gesehen habe ist das man das Brot extra bestellen muss und auch noch bezahlen..

Das geht nicht Arkadas! Mit was soll ich denn das Meze sonst essen?

Die Lage wird die Preise sicher rechtfertigen aber nicht zu 100% der genuss und die Menge.

Wie Auf meinem Bild zu sehen, ist das was auf der platte ist je einmal kaltes und einmal warmes meze zu jeweils 22€ also die ganze platte 44€!

Das geht nicht- ich erwarte nicht das mir das essen mit Eimern serviert wird, aber wenn diese Platte für 2 Leute ausgelegt ist, ist es schon frech.

Der Kellner gab uns die Rechnung (87€/mit Getränken) wir sagtem ihm 94€ er kam dann mit dem restgeld und hat aber auf 95€ rausgegeben.

Wegen 1€ wollten wir nichts sagen, aber es geht ums Prinzip!

Ja also alles in einem war es dennoch nett - aber dies ist kein laden um sich voll zu fressen, denn um wirklich satt zu werden muss man eben zahlen.

Ich wünsche dennoch alles gute und weiterhin viel Erfolg 👍

Aber meine Bitte: Hört auf für das Brot geld zu verlangen, es ist millimeter dünn und nur aufgeblasen - im Endeffekt ist wareneinsatz hier ca. 0,03€ auch wenn es natürlich noch zubereitet und gebacken werden muss.

Selbst in der Luxus gegend Florya in istanbul im teuersten Restaurant (beyti) Kommt das selbe brot mit der selben Butter und käse „kostenlos“ als erstes an den Tisch!

Kostenlos habe ich bewusst mit Anführungsstrichen versehen weil ds natürlich nicht kostenlos ist- selbstverständlich ist das alles kalkuliert und man holt das geld für das brot mit den speisen wieder rein- aber es geht um das Gefühl des Kunden- der sich blöd vorkommt für brot zu zahlen- macht es doch etwas geschickter...

Knowing the quality of Turkish restaurants I was a bit disappointed to be honest. The place itself was very nice and cozy and I could recommend for personal or business lunch. The service and the personal are quite nice and welcoming. As we were a group of six we did make a reservation. So I loved the dippings and the entry stuff and specially the bread 🤤 but then I ordered for the main dish a mixed grill plate but the taste and quality of the dish was so poor, not mentioning the the very small portion specially when you consider the price.
