Do not place a delivery order via : https://minakami-berlin.com/

We used to enjoy ordering delivery from this restaurant via delivery app. Recently, we placed a delivery order through their website because it was only place delivery is available: https://minakami-berlin.com/. Unfortunately, the status remained "Waiting for the restaurant to accept the order" indefinitely.

When we called the restaurant, they informed us that they no longer offer delivery and had requested the website be taken down. They assured us we would receive a refund soon. However, we still haven't received our refund, and emails to their contact address bounce back due to a full mailbox.

It's frustrating that the website is still active despite their request for its removal. This creates confusion and inconvenience for customers. We strongly advise against placing an order via this website, as you risk losing your money without...

On Berlin’s restaurant row Kantstrasse an asian resto is like a dime a dozen, but this place truly sticks out. It is not your usual run-of-the mill asian joint: It is Japanese fusion, a whole new concept like with the two “Best Friends” restos elsewhere in Berlin. Nice interior, a live stage in the back and even good food wonderfully presented. Who would expect that in this vicinity? So meet the unexpected and enjoy.

Any foodie loves variation, though, but the choices of wholesome liquids here are a joke: No exotic juices like Mango, Guava, Lychee, a Smoothie or even just a blended fruit cocktail, common in any asian restaurant. If you want to pamper the palate you have to go all the way and perfect your offer. The liquid dept. is equally important as the food section. But they got potential to improve, if they follow up on a well-meant suggestion from a pundit. So keep up...

The food was super nice - we tried various “tapas” and some sushi and sashimi. Personally the Ceviche included too many spices (you could really taste the chili/ paprika powder), not to be confused with spicy though.. maybe addind some fresh chili would help :-) The sushi omakase was nice but could vary a little more. The owner himself presented the menu and their concept. The vibe was a little sad, not too many guest were dining there (sadly).. would have loved to catch the live performance…

Visited Minakami on a Friday night around 18:30 and were able to find a table towards the back which was ideal. Service was very helpful to explain the menu and offer vegan dishes if needed. I ordered the Miso Soup, Shiitake Nigiri, Baby Mais tempura nigiri, Tanuki, Avocado maki. All were delicious. Big favorites were the Shiitake Nigiri and the Tanuki roll. The warm Junmai sake was also very nice! I will definitely return to Minakami.
