Risa Chicken — Restaurant in Berlin

We know Risa, we like Risa especially the one in Zoologischer Garten. This one, was a whole other Risa experience. We ordered 3 burgers and Chicken wings menu they said the chicken Wings need a bit more time (around 10 mins) and we thought alright no problem. We asked after 15 mins they laughed and said they need another “10 mins”.. after 10 mins we went to the counter and waited there in the hope it’s finally ready. Now we’ve been waiting for 40 mins and no reaction. We asked after for at least the burgers and after 5 mins they threw the order like nothing happened.. no apologies, no consideration for the time we waited (total 45 mins) and ZERO respect. Not to mention the dirty and greasy seats and tables all over the place inside and outside. Usually I never would’ve expected anything from a Risa in Leopoldplatz on a Saturday evening, but after this treatment, it was clear to me that this place is trash. There’s nothing worse for a client than waiting that much time for a fast food order. The Staff could’ve simply announced that Chicken wings at that hour (11:50) weren’t possible and we could’ve ordered...

The level of unprofessionalism at this location is astounding! They messed up my order not once, but twice! I had ordered B1 (1 Chicken Kross, 3 Crispyfilets, Potatoes, Krautsalat) + hummus and lg Thumi. Order came to 8.19 Eur - I paid 10.20 and received 2.01 back and waited for my order (#15). When I got home, I realized they had given me A1 (chili wings + pommes). I called to ask if I could come back and exchange the order and whoever picked up the phone said they did not have a B1 in their system. After a back and forth, he asked me to come buy. When I did, I explained again the situation and waited for them to prepare my correct order. When I received it, I double checked - they forgot the krautersalad. I had to remind them again what was part of the B1 menu.

Needless to say, there were no apologies from their end and I will not be coming back to this location - which is a shame as I live...

Risa chain is one of the top food chains in Berlin. Especially when it comes to Halal food and crunchy chicken like KFC, Risa, is no doubt the place to go. It offers three main varieties. Crunchy chicken, chicken burger and grilled chicken.

The reason i rate this branch as 4 and not 5 star is the grilled chicken was over grilled and the shell was all black giving a sour taste. Apart from that every thing was fine.

One general comment about RISA is that i find the person on the counters less helpful and more towards taking your order and moving to next customer. Something if they change can bring more value...
