Saaldeck Café & Bar — Restaurant in Berlin

WORST SERVICE WITH NO REASON. Last Sunday, 28 Nov, I went to Saaldeck café with 3 friends hoping for a warm tea. The café looked quite empty inside, we sat down and we ordered 2 coffees and 2 teas. After 20 minutes waiting, and many other people served on the moment at the counter, we asked where was our order. The answer of the waiter was that he could not serve us, and without giving any reason he started to argue, and then invited us, between one yell and another, to leave. I can hardly believe that we had eaten a full breakfast at our hotel on a Saturday morning, yet when we saw this place as it was opening during a walking tour of Karl-Marx-Allee, smiled at the beach furnishings being set up outside and being greeted by a friendly, inviting lady, we could not resist drinking two more excellently prepared beverages and sharing a scrumptious slice of Apfelstrudel. Man nehme einen lieblos angerichten billig Plastikbecher, mit extrem wenig Kaffe, dafür extem viel UNaufgeschäumte Milch und riesen eisklotze... Das ganze war derart ungenießbar, ich wollte es am liebsten am nächsten Mülleimer abstellen. Es war einfach nur eiskalt, man konnte es nicht trinken, zudem hat es nur nach Milch geschmeckt und es gab null dekor (in Form von Milchschaum, etwas kakaopuder, etwas Sirup als Geschmack) dann aber für so etwas profanes 3,60 Euro zu verlangen und dafür 20 Minuten gewartet zu haben mit nur einer person vor mir, ist schon allerhand.... Getoppt wurde dieses wunderbare Erlebnis noch durch ihre temperamentvolle und draufgängerische servicekraft, die es tatsächlich fertig bringt, Kunden zu mit erzieherischen Maßnahmen zu belegen. Das hat mich wirklich nerven gekostet und sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt bis dato. Zitat: einen iced latte bitte... Antwort:" guten morgen erstmal" - hört hört! Na sowas. Der gute Laune Sonnenschein war sie auch nicht gerade, aber das Getränk, was ich bei euch bekommen habe, bekomme ich an jedem 0815 café besser vorgesetzt. Und dort bezahlt man dann auch gerne stolze 3,60 wenn service und Getränk stimmen. Bei euch definitiv nicht nach der heutigen Erfahrung

Edit: also ich habe zig tausend iced latte getrunken, vom start up bis zum öko bis hin zu den großen ketten. Überall war es genießbar, wohl temperiert und hübsch angerichtet und vor allem geschmacklich ausgewogen. Aber haltet gerne an eurer "Definition" um...
