Sandmann — Restaurant in Berlin

Heute eine Stunde zum deutschen Restaurant gefahren. 1930. Entsetzt, kaum Gäste. Na dann mal völlig vertrocknet und hungrig hinein. Sehr "berlinerisch-lockere" Begrüßung und meine Order für zwei grosse Lübszer völlig falsch angekommen. Dafür dann aber 20min mit leerem Glas am Tisch. "Hier geht alles in Ruhe". Bei der Bestellung der Gerichte war das plötzlich völlig anders. "Bitte alle Gerichte zusammen ordern! Sonst sind wir ja um 2300 noch nicht fertig." Wau. Ich kenn ja nichtmal die Karte! "Hoffentlich können Sie dann meine zwei Gerichte nicht gleichzeitig servieren!" Der ersten Kellnerin deutlich gesagt, dass das bis jetzt n glatter Durchfall war. Modus Freundlichkeit ein. Zweite Kellnerin entschuldigt sich für vergessene Bierorder. Der Inhaber checked die Küche ohne zu grüssen. Niemand fragt nach Essenreichung ob es passt. Pommes hätte ich zurück gegeben. Küchenbesatzung 3? Personen. Grüssen - Fehlanzeige. Bier "ganz in Ruhe" weil ich gleich zwei für mich bestellt habe, abgelehnt. Dafür musste ich dann auf das 2. ewig warten. 2. Kellnerin bestimmt hier und nicht der Gast. Bier? Fehlanzeige. Und Essen wird "alles zusammen bestellt, sonst sind wir ja um 11 noch nicht fertig" Leider nur bis 22 offen ): Aber um 2000 war mir nicht klar, ob ich zwei oder 3 mal esse. Ich hab gefragt, ob sie in der Lage wären, zwei Essen für mich dann auch nacheinander zu servieren. Keine Antwort. Von jetzt an lief alles viel besser. Freundlich, nett, einfach Klasse Service! Wir kommen wieder. Karte und Essen einfach Spitze!

Vielleicht eine der besten letzten "deutsche Küche" Restaurants Südost. Das draft Bier ganz frisch! Meine Begleitung bekam zur Rechnung mit fettem Tip ein grosses Schoki - einfach sehr herzlich und lieb.

Ich werde die Karte runteressen. Bin gespannt. Hoffentlich finde ich bald einen Parkplatz hier, beim nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank! Good job!

Today drove an hour to the German restaurant. 1930. Horrified, hardly any guests. Well then times completely dried up and hungry inside. Very "Berlin-relaxed" greeting and my order for two large Lübszer arrived completely wrong. But then 20 minutes with an empty glass at the table. "Here everything is calm". When ordering the dishes, it was suddenly completely different. "Please order all dishes together! Otherwise we won't be finished by 2300." woof I don't even know the map! "I hope you can't serve my two dishes at the same time then!" The first waitress said clearly that it was n straight diarrhea until now. Friendliness mode on. Second waitress apologizes for forgotten beer order. The owner checked the kitchen without saying hello. Nobody asks if it fits after the food is served. I would have given fries back. kitchen crew 3? Persons. Greetings - none. Beer "in peace" because I ordered two for myself, declined. But then I had to wait for the 2nd forever. 2. The waitress decides here and not the guest. Beer? none. And food is "ordered all together, otherwise we won't be ready by 11." Unfortunately only open until 10 p.m.): But around 2000, I wasn't sure if I was eating 2 or 3 times. I asked if they would be able to serve me two meals back to back. No Answer. Everything went much better from now on. Friendly, nice, just great service! We will be back. Map and food simply great!

Perhaps one of the best recent "German cuisine" restaurants in the Southeast. The draft beer fresh! My companion got a big chocolate with the bill with a fat tip - just very warm and nice.

A typical German restaurant. If you want to enjoy some real Berlin German food that is a great place to go. They have a delicious Schnitzel in many varieties. We tried their Italien, Indian, Berlin style and old Eastern style schnitzel and they all were good.👍 We also had their Rösti(compared to hash browns oder potato cakes) and smoked salmon which were really good. Everyone was super happy with their food. We went there for a birthday celebration as a group with Germans and family from the US. Make sure to stop by here for a great food experience. You can sit outside and inside and the staff was super nice!! 5 stars for...

The best chicken Schnitzel I had so far to be honest. I really didn’t expect everything to be so good and delicious as the first vibe you get from the outside makes you think more of a pub. But the dishes are prepared with love and care and are fresh and delicious. Prices are fair and worth it. A chicken schnitzel costs around 16/17€ and trust me: you can only finish when you are very hungry! I can really recommend this to anyone! However, if you would like to avoid pork make sure to double check with the waiter as there may be some bacon in sauces or garnishes that were to explicitly mentioned...
