I am honestly a bit flabbergasted at how we were just treated at this cafe, but I will do my best to share the experience so others do not have to. We were told today that we were not allowed to sit in this cafe because they only had one table and we were only two people, hoping to get coffee. The table was not reserved for anyone. She said they needed to keep it open just in case a bigger group decided to come on a whim (the "bigger" group she was waiting for would have had to be three people, and not the two people that we were). The fact that we were not allowed to sit because of the possibility of a bigger group would have been strange enough, but we had actually already been sitting outside the cafe for a while when it started to rain. We opened an umbrella and tried to deal with the rain but decided to go inside once the rain got too intense. When we tried to order another coffee, we were turned away. Unfortunately, this was not our only poor experience at this cafe and were given the feeling we were not welcome. I cannot condone discrimination and believe this cafe should either change its ways or close. That said, the cookies and coffee taste great. The regular smell of curry in a cafe is a bit difficult for the nose, though. Hence why we tried to sit outside. That was the last time we will leave our money at this cafe. I hope it changes hands soon.

I've been coming here regularly for over a year now (I only know that because my last review was over a year ago!) Today's visit deserves a special mention because of the aubergine and courgette quiche: best quiche ever (and that is difficult because all the quiches are super tasty!). Unfortunately I forgot to take a "before" photo so just a pic of my empty plate, so you'll have to come here and see it for yourself ;-) On top of the yummy food the owner is super friendly and relaxed. So much so that I chose to come here for birthday lunch.

Very nice cafe with a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. The coffee is fantastic and the baked goods are super tasty (I really like the cookies). Both the outdoor and indoor seating is great and I enjoy drinking coffee here and reading a book or getting some work done. Farzi, who runs the shop is extremely friendly and bakes everything herself. I definitely recommend checking out this cafe!

What a rude and mean lady who works behind the counter. The older lady, maybe she is the owner. It was my dad's birthday so I wanted to pick up some cheesecake for him. I got my own big container to carry them home because I didn't want to swish them. The lady had placed the cakes on a paper plate by them. I asked her to put the whole thing in my container. But she started making unhappy faces and told me off. She said I should have told her before, then she would not have to use her paper plate. I was so surprised. I mean, what's the big deal? I think the already expensive price for the cakes includes paper plates? She completely ruined my mood for such a special day. The cakes are also poor in quality compared to 3-4 years ago. And don't forget: NUR BARZAHLUNG . Really? You don't even want to pay taxes? Nie wieder. The owner lost touch with reality and now imagines this is some fancy, hipster cafe in...
