Taco Loco Cantina Mexicana — Restaurant in Berlin

The service was great! Super nice, friendly and very accommodating. As they just opened, they're very keen on taking feedback about the food, which I appreciated.

We had the nachos to start and it really did it for us. The portion was enough for 3 people. The toppings were spread evenly across the chips which is great cause you get a mouthful of everything every single time you dig in.

The main dishes were fajita camarones, really large shrimp with all the veg. Tortillas were soft and made really well. The enchiladas were okay. I think it could do with more seasoning to bring out the flavors.

They have plenty of drinks on the menu and they use a lot of herbs. Refreshing and not overly sweet.

Atmosphere was comfortable with music in the background. Plenty of seating and quite roomy.

Cash only! Will definitely be back to try the rest...

Tried Taco Loco Cantina Mexicana in Berlin for the first time, and I have to say – I was very pleasantly surprised! As an Indian who loves bold, flavorful food, I can confidently give this place a full 5 out of 5.

We ordered chicken tacos and quesadillas for our main course, and every bite was just yummm! The spices were well balanced, the meat was tender, and everything tasted super fresh. The portions were satisfying too.

What made the experience even better was the amazing staff – warm, friendly, and really welcoming. It’s always nice to feel at home in a new cuisine, and they made sure of that.

So firstly I'm a Mexican American that has grown up around Mexican food my whole life... that said I spent half this meal sending photos to my mom complaining about how this German "Mexican" restaurant is using the wrong ingredients at every stage of the meal. Wrong rice with zero seasoning, wrong beans cooked incorrectly, classic margaritas that were anything but classic, pico de gallo that... well... I wouldn't even call it pico. I don't know whether to be mad at the restaurant for butchering Mexican food so bad or at German people for actually giving positive reviews to this place, it's humiliating as a Mexican. But hey the nachos...
