The Asia Kitchen - Saigon BBQ Art & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Berlin

If one would walk into this restaurant you would be blown away to think that you are in Asia especially for those who have not been there....... But don't be fooled Went for dinner last night with my husband and in-laws for a" what I thought could be a great evening of food tasting and delicious experience" I would give the presentation a 4 star. So then you can't wait to dig in. The first bite in my mouth and I thought noooooooooo. I am sorry I am only giving this place a two Star for their effort and friendliness. This is not authentic Asian food. Although the Vietnamese do tend to cook their food a little " bland" we all know that. Given the fact the the French can't cook and had their influence in Vietnam then Saigon So all in all. I had a papaya salad which was alright. A curry shrimp dish which was sweet and nothing near Asian cooking more like trying to make Asian food in a hospital and the dim sum sucked all the way to China. And my husbands "fried duck" was swimming in a coconut milk peanut butter mixture. Which in my Opinion is not cooking just cocktail mixing gone wrong. I cannot recommend this restaurant to those seeking authentic Asian kitchen. If you are looking to have some drinks with the Asian flair garden terrace or just have drinks and want to feel you are in Asia go ahead and have fun. I have been around and I am Asian so this was a disappointment altogether. Not to mention in 2018 not accepting credit cards or ec card is a no go. I'm not leaving my CASH...

I don't know what to say. The food tasted good and perfect quantity. The waiter was nice. Yet, we both had an allergic reaction and could not sleep the whole night due to itching, sweating, insomnia, irritability and hyperactivity. We think it is because of the taste enhancers and other food additives in their food, which we are not used to. I would like to know if this restaurant really uses such substances. If not, we will continue to frequent, but if yes, we cannot vitis this Asian place with...

I ordered fried noodles with chicken and extra spicy. The rice noodles were very nice and they gave generous portions of noodles and salad, it was good enough for one person. The price is slightly expensive.

The service was really bad and I had to wait 10-15min to order food. I asked the staff to explain a few dishes but the staff didn't have the patience to do that. In the end, I had to go with the default options as chicken noodles.

Overall the food was good but...
