Burgerzimmer XII Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

I ordered food from their app today and got a confirmation email immediately. The food was paid for and I asked for immediate delivery too. When I didn't hear from them for 2hrs, I called on the number given on the app as well as the confirmation email. No one picked up for 10 min. Then I found a different number on Google and called that. Finally, someone picked up and told me they didn't know I had ordered as their buns had finished off so they'd closed the app for the night. They offered to send the food the next day. I was baffled because why would I get a confirmation email and get charged, if I wasn't going to get the food. And why didn't anyone call me to inform me at least. I had hungry people on my hands at 10 pm on a weeknight.

This is the second time that Bürgerzimmer has disappointed me. The last time they took over 2 hours to deliver a mere order of 6 chicken nuggets and 6 chilli cheese nuggets to an address 10 min away from them. This time the order was on Lieferando.de so according to the app the food was 'delivered' in 40min which obviously didn't happen. And when I called them all they had to say was that they didn't have a delivery guy available. This is highly unprofessional. And at that time I had ordered at work so of course it was way past my lunch break when I finally received my food.

While the food is good, their service and etiquettes badly need some brushing up. Honestly, it would make matters much better if they at least accepted there was an issue. Both times the person I talked to basically told me it was how it was and that's that instead of apologizing for the delay or, in today's instance, for not delivering the food at all. I would also strongly suggest not ordering from their app at least. I would love to give them no stars at all. However, to post this I need to give at least...

Having tried burgerzimmer before, this time arguably one of the worst burgers I have ever had. Never going back. Ordered online and after 5 minutes I go to the restaurant and the person is just sitting there checking his phone I ask him did you get the order he said yes I will start it will take 7 minutes. Then after waiting 20 minutes he was done ! Also no card payment was possible and he even denied to give me the wifi password, tho last time another guy gave me the password when I asked. Now to the burgers, the meat was like rubber and uncooked, barely eatable !!!!! I order Chicago and there was one little piece of bacon there and all the other ingredients were in small amounts. Ich habe heute am 16.07.2021 mit meinen Kollegen zusammen Essen bestellt. Auch alles über Lieferando bezogen und bezahlt. Nun hieß es warten und warten. Leider habe ich erst später die anderen Bewertungen gelesen, was ich hätte doch tun sollen. Jedoch war dann die erste Stunde herum und wir riefen ca. 15 Minuten später im Geschäft an. Da hieß es: Es sind noch 05- 10 Minuten, die wir warten müssten. Nun war ich beschäftigt und vergaß die Zeit und wir riefen wieder ca. 20 Minuten später an. Da hieß es, er ist gleich da. Man solle doch Verständnis haben. Nach dem Anruf, ca. 15 Minuten später, dann der Besuch mit dem Essen im Gepäck.

Wortlos stellte er alles auf dem Tisch und verließ sofort die Räume, und auch "Hallo oder Tschüss" zu sagen. Keine Bemerkung und er war nach 30 Sekunden wieder raus. Das Essen war noch gut warm, kann aber auch an dem warmen Wetter liegen. Man muss wissen, dass der Fahrtweg mit dem Auto nur 10 Minuten zum Restaurant sind.

Jeder meiner Kollegen hatte das, was er wollte, sowie ich auch. Nichts fehlte, zum Glück würde man meinen. Aber geschmacklich gibt es weitaus bessere Lokale in Zehlendorf. Die Pommes waren gut aber auch zu lange in der Fritteuse. Schade eigentlich, da die Aufmachung der Menüs doch sehr ansprechend waren. Schlussendlich nach rund 2 Stunden war das auch eine lange „Mittagspause“ - dank dem warten etc.

Preise sind angemessen, wenn die Burger nicht so zugeworfen werden mit allen Zutaten. Mit „liebe“ würde das ganze vielleicht auch besser ausschauen und auch anders schmecken. Nächstes Mal bestellen wir nicht mehr hier. Es war eine Erfahrung wert. Leider keine wirklich gute, da ich für 40,00 € Essen auch mehr erwarte als das.

Fazit: Pommes & Getränke gerne zwischen durch wieder, preislich in Ordnung. Thematik Burger & Co....
