A Dismal Dining Experience

My recent visit to Trattoria Fidella was nothing short of a disaster. To start, the pasta was a complete letdown—pre-cooked, yet somehow both raw and overcooked in different bites. This level of inconsistency is unacceptable for any establishment, let alone an Italian restaurant.

The pizza was another major disappointment. It was excessively greasy, to the point where it was almost inedible. Even the bread, a basic staple, was old and tough, indicating a lack of attention to freshness and quality.

The service was equally appalling. Our male server was incredibly rude and disrespectful, displaying an unwarranted level of anger throughout our meal. Such behavior is unprofessional and made an already poor dining experience even worse.

Overall, the restaurant failed on all fronts—food quality, freshness, and customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant...

Ordered an appetizer to share and two special pastas, the pastas came immediately. We cancelled the appy because we already had our mains. My wife's gnocchi was decent, my green tagliatelle with mushrooms was pretty lacking... The dried mushrooms were not rehydrated so they tasted raw and were crumbly inside. My fresh pasta was only about half the pasta, it was mixed with store bought so they had two different textures. My dish needed a whole bunch of salt - the beef steak which was in the meal had no seasoning or flavour whatsoever. Would not recommend.

To top it off, my wife and I were playing a quick card game when the food came. The blonde waiter just tossed the bread basket on top of our cards, scattering the game....

We stopped in here for dinner following a walk around the city. The prices were very good. Our meals (2), with three .5l beers was around 40e. They have a good menu selection and the food is very good. The penne was VERY el dente, hence 4 stars for food.

The atmosphere is quiet, except for the occasional metro passing overhead. It was clean, warm, and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English.

I'd definitely recommend this restaurant!
