Moltke Bridge is a bridge over the Spree River in Berlin, Germany. Completed in 1891, it connects Alt-Moabit near the main railway station on the north bank to Willy-Brandt-Straße and the Chancellery on the south bank. The bridge is named after Field Marshal Helmuth von Moltke the Elder (1800–1891), chief of staff of the Prussian Army for thirty years. Moltke died just before the bridge's completion and it was inaugurated by his funeral cortege. Muy lindo y con mucha historia. Moltke Bridge es un puente sobre el río Spree en Berlín, Alemania. Terminado en 1891, conecta Alt-Moabit cerca de la estación principal de trenes en la orilla norte con Willy-Brandt-Straße y la Cancillería en la orilla sur. El puente tiene tres arcos cruzados que atraviesan el Spree hechos de piedra arenisca roja principal, decorado con estatuas de Johannes Boese, Carl Piper y Carl Begas. La construcción comenzó en 1888 y se completó en 1891. El puente vio intensos combates durante la Batalla de Berlín en abril de 1945 al final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
