Have breakfast like God in Fran... in Italy. Have breakfast like God in Italy, but in Kreuzberg.

That would actually describe it quite well. There it is, on of the best coffee shops in the hood. You sit on the sunny side of life, there are Italian ciabatta and tramezzini, and all the cool stuff from Italy, like delicious cakes, delicious breakfasts, the scrambled eggs - and it is prepared freshly. The place is super comfortable, inside as well as outside.

The interior is homely and rustic. Yes, I would say that the decor is rustic and maybe a bit picturesque.

At the good times, the store can literally burst. Yes, that's how good it is. It's really good. But it is also always fun to have breakfast here and it has this feeling of timelessness and living in the moment. You just want to stay.

I would not define this as a restaurant but rather as a café. They serve an assortment of various cheeses and cured meats from Italy, as well as tramezzini, pizzette and other items you would typically find in an Italian bar. They also serve some pasta dishes which I haven't tried. The quality of the products is really good and prices are reasonable. Despite the fact that the cafe was very busy when we arrived, the food came quickly and service kept up really well (we were a massive table of around 15 people and we never had to wait long for our food and drinks). Great little Italian day-time place. Located on the corner of Victoria Park on Kreuzbergstrasse. Come sip the best Italian coffee variations, relax outside in the sun and enjoy the view of the water fall in the park. The cheerful and friendly young staff managed by the lovely owner lady, create a lively yet cosy atmosphere, making the Vereinszimmer THE neighbourhood magnet.
