There's clearly a lot of care taken in getting quality ingredients and in creating the varied menu. The atmosphere of the terrace is wonderful and we had a little friend visiting our table. However, the place is currently looking for more staff and this is clear in the execution of the dish and the service, which is not perfect. But this is only so obvious due to the fact that they present themselves with such a high quality in mind and the high level of quality they've put in.

The minor gripes are: The meat is a little tough and too cold. The water for the tea was not hot enough to the point that if you didn't immediately drink the tea after you pour it, it would go cold in a minute or so. A sweet part of a dish which was served on a separate plate was served a little early, which meant that the bite we had to try it when it was served was better than when it was eaten after all the savouries were eaten.

The price for the very delicious large portions of food is very reasonable and I would definitely...

We went to this restaurant for a simple breakfast and a latte but the experience was absolutely unacceptable. The latte took 40 minutes to arrive and was completely cold. Every table around us was served promptly which made us wonder if they simply did not care about our order because we are not German. Even after repeatedly asking the waitress she kept forgetting our order.

When the food finally arrived more than an hour later it was freezing cold and missing several items. Instead of correcting it properly they took my plate back and I had to wait another 15 minutes only for it to return even colder. The extra items we requested were also forgotten.

What was supposed to be a quick breakfast turned into a two hour ordeal of chaos and...

A lovely villa, situated right next to a park, converted into a restaurant over two levels. The restaurant space is broken up into smaller areas/rooms, providing privacy and reduction in over-all sound. Breakfast was as expected in Germany, with a bias on large plates with cold meats and cheese, accompanied by a bread basket. That's the good bits. 3 stars only because we came on Sunday morning for breakfast. Reservations are essential. The place fills up and then it's really hard to get the attention of service personal. They become stressed and cranky and by the end of a lovely breakfast, unprofessional behavior of the staff (blaming slow service on other guests, for example) sours the mood. Also, the coffee is at...

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This is the best breakfast spot in Berlin - hands down. The service was everything you could hope for, the staff was lovely and accomodating to all the guests in our party. Most of us spoke english and this was no problem, and they were very polite. The food, the star of the show, was the highlight of our day. The tea war brewed in individual pots and was very delicious, as was the coffee. Eating at this restaurant is an experience, as if you have been invited into someones house. If you're going to Berlin, you HAVE TO skip your hotel breakfast at least one of the days and start it off right with a beautiful breakfast at Tomasa.

Nice relaxing restaurant with outdoors, patio and balcony sitting. Atmosphere and service are great and the view is quite nice having the restaurant situated in the park. Nice beer and wine selection as well as diverse menu ranging from stakes, burgers, pastas and salads. They also have a wide selection of vegaterian and vegan food. Dishes are quite generous but expect to pay a higher than 'typical' prices. It is acceptable in my opinion based on the location and type of restaurant.
