Yak and Yeti Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

We have had Chicken Korma and Lamb Kokos, and it was one of the tastiest flavor I have for a long time. I like spicy food, and when they say middle spicy, they mean it, just watch out for your scale. Besides, staffs were very friendly and cooperative. We arrived with our 14 months old sleeping, and asked if we could have our foods as fast as possible, and they did just that, so appreciated. Even when our boy woke up, they offered to bring extra bread, which was nice, although we did not need it. Can only recommend, and we will be back to try other yummy items on the menu.

One minor thing that we found absurd, and could be improved, was that, the bill came at the end was the total round-up, not a normal detailed receipt. I would appreciate a normal receipt, and a chance to decide to pay tip. The waiter just came with a total amount with a card reader, and I touched my card to pay. The food is delicious and obviously made with care. We have ordered take-out from here several times but never dined in until today. There is a much larger range of fare to choose from with dine-in, so we chose dishes we have never tried. Every dish was seasoned perfectly and came out hot. The lamb takari was so tender and the curries were all so different and obviously made with fresh ingredients. I was hungry and found this place “on the way”, just wanted to grab a bite. The lady who took my order was lovely and pleasant. I ordered the mittags menu- tali plate with chicken korma, and I was so surprised how good it was!! I have eaten in many authentic restaurants in Berlin, but flavor wise this was one of the best! Strong but balanced Nepalis Indian cooking, fantastic! Also the soup I took for take away was great! The only thing I would say that they could put bit more meat in the tali plate but otherwise I will hardly recommend this...
