For all people who decided to throw mud on this place, please remeber: don't you agree with the bar policies? OK, you're not forced to go there, just STAY HOME. Beside the fact that I cannot understand the fuzz around wearing a mask 5 minutes when you place a order, I also think that a bar should be judged accordingly to the services it provides, hence COFFEE, CAKES AND FRIENDLINESS. I regularly visit this place, there is nowhere in Berlin where I can find cakes and croissants like this! The ingredients are always so fresh, their red beetroot and ginger bread spread is heaven! Great possibilities to order a nice breakfast also for vegetarian and vegan guests. Coffee is always prepared with much care and the personell is extremely nice, they'll go to extra mile for you by preparing your order the way you want. Good cafe and a wide range of pastries. They are famous for the pastel natal therefore I tried thought the croissant looked yummy. The pastel natal tasted just OK in my opinions, not super yummy or WOW. It’s kind of OK. I had milk coffee, it was OK as well.

Hier bekommt man meistens leckeren Kaffee (Oatly Barista +30 Cent) und eine sehr große Auswahl an Kuchen. Leider gibt es aber nur eine einzige vegane Variante, das Bananenbrot. Auch nach mehreren Jahren und ständigem Nachfragen, scheint es noch immer ein großes Problem zu sein, das Angebot an veganen Kuchen zu erweitern.

Das Café ist sehr beliebt, wodurch es auch etwas voller und nur bedingt geeignet ist, in Ruhe seinen Kaffee zu trinken. Das liegt auch daran, dass viele Kund:innen ewig vor ihrem leeren Glas sitzend mit ihrem Laptop einen Tisch blockieren.

Kartenzahlung ist erst ab 10 Euro möglich, was nicht gerade sehr kundenfreundlich und zeitgemäß ist. Bei SumUp, das dort genutzt wird, verlangt man seit Juli 2023 unabhängig von der verwendeten Zahlungskarte eine Transaktionsgebühr von 1,39 %. Bei einem „Flat White“ mit Oatly Barista für 4,30 Euro wäre das eine Gebühr von gerade mal 6 Cent. Die 10€-Regelung macht aber vor allem deshalb keinen Sinn, weil die Gebühr immer bei 1,39% liegt und deshalb, relativ gesehen, für das Café für alle Beträge gleich ist - egal ob über...
