It's a nice place, though a bit on the pricy side. Used to like going there until I was informed by one of the employees (or owner) that I'm not allowed to use their electricity to charge my laptop. This was the first cute hipster-y café in this area, so it is of course a success, but it could do with some competition, prices are somewhat on the high end for what you get. The coffee is good, the brownies are great and the other cakes range from ok to really good (the cheesecake could be fluffier and have a better crust, for example, the carrot cake is really nice). Der Kaffee hätte fünf Sterne verdient. Man bekommt in der Kurt Kaffeerösterei einen super leckeren Kaffee, auch in Bioqualität. Auch die Frühstückskarte sieht super aus und was ich bisher probiert habe, war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente kann auch nett sein, vorallem wenn der Chef nicht da ist. Und dafür ziehe ich die Sterne ab. Einmal nahm mein Begleitung ein Brötchen mit und wollte es zu dem Kaffee verzehren, unsere Unbedarftheit und französische Caféseele ließen uns denken das sei ok, da wir oft und gerne zum Kurt gehen und uns bisher sehr wohl dort fühlten. Ich verstehe sogar, wenn es nicht gern gesehen und geduldet wird (vorallem in Deutschland, obschon es der Atmosphäre nicht zuträglich ist) aber die Art und Weise, wie er uns den weiteren Verzehr verbot war mehr als unangebracht. Ein anderes Mal war es die harsche Ablehnung auf die Frage nach einem Cappuccino mit etwas mehr Milch. Seitdem gehen wir trotzdem noch hin, weil der Kaffee eben sehr lecker ist, aber doch auch immer mit einem weinenden Auge weil eben nicht der Charme und die sympathische Atmosphäre besteht, die zu einem Lieblingscafé dazu...
