Restaurant Pizzeria "Da Verdi" — Restaurant in Bonn

This one looks nice from the outside. This is where it stops.

The atmosphere is too loud with the phone ringing all the time. The place is crammed full. It tryes to be beautiful, but that's about it.

The food was abysmal for the Price. I ordered pasta with duck rague and porcino (Steinpilz) from the week menue. One would think the mushrooms would be fresh for 18 Euro but these were canned ones one with a sour taste... The pasta was fine. The sauce was mediocre and tainted from the mushrooms taste.

My partner had a pizza with spinach and shrimps. I also tasted it and this to was one of the worst pizza in Bonn. The sauce was dryed out. The crust was dry and oily the spinach was black. This pizza had way to much heat. Also it was meagerly topped.

On top of this: we did we have to wait over 5 minutes for the pizza after the pasta was there.

I highly recommend to stay away from this...

Wir waren zu zweit am Samstagabend dort zum essen. Der Kellner ist einer der Generation Z, die die Zähne nicht auseinander bekommen, aber das kennt man ja mittlerweile. Das Essen war eine reine Katastrophe, ich hatte als Primi piatti ein Caprese Salat und meine Frau ein Foccacia. Der Salat war wie in den 80 ern angerichtet, das Foccacia war sehr gut. Die Hauptspeise, bei mir eine Pizza und bei meiner Frau eine Lasagne,waren eine geschmackliche Unverschämtheit.Beides war komplett ohne Gewürze oder eine eigene Raffinesse, da muss man nicht Essen gehen. Die Inhaberin fragte uns beim Abräumen der Teller, ob es geschmeckt habe. Wir teilte Ihr mit, das die Speisen ohne Geschmack waren, worauf Sie nur entgegnete, der Koch sei neu....... BITTE??????? Liebe Inhaberin, betreiben Sie ein Restaurant oder was glauben Sie, wir sind selber Unternehmer und wissen, wie schwierig es ist in diesen Zeiten Personal zu bekommen, aber Sie können doch nicht allen Ernstes ungelerntes Personal auf Ihre Gäste loslassen und dafür rd. 60 Euro verlangen. Es ist Ihre Aufgabe, das die Qualität, welche aus Ihrer Küche kommt, stimmt. Essen gehen ist ja schließlich ein Gesamterlebnis, die Kellner sollen gastfreundlich sein und das Essen soll zumindest eine Mensa Küche übersteigen, vom Geschmack. Traurig ist, das man nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung bekommt, man bekommt nur erklärt, warum...... Wie wäre es mit einem z.B. freien Glas Wein auf kosten des Hauses gewesen und einer Entschuldigung??

Edit - service still horrendous but the food is decent . Food is a 8/10 . Owner seems amazing and caring but...
