Namaste Indisches Restaurant & Cocktailbar — Restaurant in Boppard

I live just over a couple of valleys away,so it is a local Indian for me. They are on the Rhein front,and on nice warmer days it’s worth sitting outside… We sat in the Restaurant,it was a bit to fresh..We took a soup, starter,and maincourse. My wife took veggan..Mango- Sabzi, I Chicken-Tikka..( scharf). Staff only 2 & cook,but it was during the quiet period. Saturday ca 14:30-16:00. They were welcoming & informative. On Saturdays they are open from 12:00 -23:00hrs.. A good mix of known Indian dishes…No Problem thinking of returning to the Nameste . For German levels,that’s a good few notches above normal Indian - German offerings. Would be interesting to compare when they have really busy times. But since COVID, difficult from outside cities to find over-busy restaurants,so can’t compare...

We were going back from Austria to Netherlands by car and planned this restaurant as our stop for dinner. Due to traffic we reached late here then we anticipated, this made us starving..

We explained to owner and he immediately arranged everything very quickly, Apart from that the food was super delicious and amazing and served in nice way that it stays warm until you finish your dinner. The staff are friendly and give similar attention to all kind of customers (both indian and non-indian)

We liked that we choose this place to take break and have some Indian food before we can continue with our journey.

The location from highway 6 is not that far but you have to climb down mountain with some very tight curves, but once you arrive you will find this hidden gem in...

First time we ordered "togo" and the order was wrong (we found out when we got it home). Food flavor needs to be more intense and that does not mean more spicey. Last night, we went to eat at the restaurant (outside) with friends. Service was slow, I think because they were distracted by the fussball game and there were alot of customers. After ordering, we waited 25 minutes for our drinks and then another hour to get our food. Never did get the naan bread we ordered (even with 3 reminders) but were charged. My husband's mixed drink needed 3 reminders as well but it did appear at the end of the meal. Service was friendly, place was clean and beautiful location...
