We recently enjoyed an exceptional evening at Park Restaurant, located inside the Parkhotel in Bremen. From the moment we arrived, the evening felt truly special, thanks to the warm hospitality of Taeke Halbersma, the restaurant manager. He immediately recognized us from past visits at a different restaurant and greeted us like old friends. He personally walked us to our table, which boasted a stunning view of the hotel’s beautiful garden—a perfect setting for a memorable evening.

Throughout the evening, we were looked after by Henrik Galla, a young professional who completed his apprenticeship just last year and is now on the exciting path to becoming a sommelier. His enthusiasm and dedication shone through, and we are eager to see his career flourish.

The highlight of the evening was the exceptional three-course dinner crafted by Frank Seyfried, the head chef. Each dish was thoughtfully composed, showcasing creativity and culinary mastery. Henrik’s wine pairings complemented the courses perfectly, enhancing the entire dining experience.

This was an evening we will both remember—one that left us already wondering when we will have the pleasure of returning.

At first the hotel didn't even knew if restaurant will give us some warm food. There were few people around and we still waited for drinks around 30 min. After we got drinks the staff said to go to the other table. Then for food waited probably 45 min. Caesar salad portion was big and tasted well but the burger was awful, despite the fact that asked no onions or pickles, still got them there, also it was too much mustard and the bun was like rock! 😳 Price ofc was very high 💸💸💸... Wir hatten extra eine Übernachtung im Hause gebucht, um am 25.9. im Kuppelsaal Freunde zum Essen einladen zu können. Der Tisch war 4 Wochen vorher im Kuppelsaal bestellt. Beim Frühstück mussten wir zusehen, wie der Kuppelsaal für eine Veranstaltung leergeräumt wurde. Uns wurde erklärt, dass dort eine jährliche Tagung stattfindet. Das haben Sie bestimmt auch schon am 17.8. gewusst, und hätten uns das mitteilen können.

Nach Besichtigung des Ersatzquartiers habe ich gebeten zum Ausgleich den gebuchten Tisch etwas für den 75. Geburtstag meiner Frau aufzuhübschen. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat das auch freundlich und bereitwillig aufgenommen. Zur bestellten Zeit war aber nur auf einem Zweiertisch eine alberne Kindergirlande gelegen. Der gebuchte Fünfertisch musste erst eingedeckt und bestuhlt werden. Da klappt die Kommunikation nicht zwischen Rezeption und Restaurant.

Nach dem Essen mussten wir est lange warten, bis jemand vorbeikam, den wir um die Dessertkarte bitten konnten. Unsere Gäste waren schon reichlich irritiert - eingeladen ins beste Haus am Platze und im Restaurant allein gelassen.

Und noch eine Warnung zum Schluss: bestellt keine Rote Grütze. Die Kratzgeräusche in der Schieferimitatschüssel sind nervenzerfetzend.

Und das allerletzte: auf ein Feedback mit gleichem Inhalt hat das 5*Haus nach 5 Wochen immer noch...
