Update on the rating from 4 to 2 stars...reason; Overheard many people complain that they do not want to have children there which is sad regarding many families living in the area. If you only want to have adults then I would call it adult café and not let the guest feel unwelcome!

Old review:This is one of the most popular cafes in the area and I can understand that. Coffee is amazing and the breakfast is fresh and the cakes....omg... well anyways I only gave a 4 since I heard that many people had a bit of issues with the ones working there, meaning they could be more friendly and helpful. In my opinion it is a bit up and down but my guess is that it is manly because of stress and the high amount of guests. They have a children's corner which is for many parents a joy as well as for the children. Book ahead for weekends and be aware that weekdays lunchtime can...

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Sehr unhöflich und gar kein Respekt!

Ein Termin wurde vereinbart (Anrufhistorie kann beweisen, dass ich das Café vorher angerufen habe). Bei dem Ankommen wurde nicht mitgeteilt, dass es eine Reservierung für den Tisch später noch gäbe und wie lange man da bleiben kann. Mein Freund und ich begannen, dort mit Notebook zu arbeiten. eine Weile später, nach dem Bescheid, dass man am Wochenende da im Café nicht mit Notebook arbeiten darf, hörten wir sofort die Arbeit auf und unterhielten uns. Nach noch etwas 1.5 Stunden, in denen wir jedoch ständig konsumiert haben und uns nicht etwa die ganze Zeit an einem Getränk festgehalten haben, wollte der Besitzer, dass wir sein Laden verlassen und sagte uns, dass die Tische reserviert würde. Ich habe den Besitzer Bescheid gegeben, dass ich vorher einen Tisch auch reserviert hatte und wir noch nicht ausgetrunken haben.

!!!!Highlight!!!! Letztendlich hat der Besitzer uns (exakt nur mich) fotografiert. Zufällig wurde es von mir bemerkt. Ich habe sofort den Besitzer gesagt, dass man ohne Zusage mich nicht fotografieren darf. Der Besitzer gab nicht zu, dass er mich fotografiert hat, sondern nur den “Ausblick“ seines Ladens. Bei Polizei hat er zugegeben, dass er mich fotografiert hat, weil er nur wollte, dass ich das Café nicht mehr besuchen darf. (Eigentlich wollte ich das solche Cafés nie mehr besuchen.) Er sagte, dass er es nicht veröffentlichen wollte, deshalb ging es nicht um Datenschutz. Gar kein Problem!!!

Das ist mein erstes Erlebnis in Deutschland, das ich früher nie bekam. Soll ich mich bedanken, dass mein Horizont erweitert worden ist!!

Great coffee/cappuccino and very nice vibes inside. Ideal to meet someone or to have a chill time if you have to do some work. The staff are all very friendly. Especially the chef is super sweet and he cooks delicious meals. We really enjoyed the spinach quiche (we ordered it twice) and the seasonal potato soup.
