The best Indian restaurant in Cologne? No! It’s the best Indian restaurant in my life!
Since I’m a vegetarian and a spicy food lover, I eat Indian food often. But this place is the very best food so far in my life!! We first went to this place in February or March this year, and now almost have their food every 2 weeks - 1 month. They deliver without any extra cost within 4 km, so if you live not so far, you can call and order by phone.
Their Mango sauce is fantastic so as their Mango lassi. The Art India antipasti set is also nice if you are a fan of fried stuffs. Their soup and rice never fail, overall, everything they make is extremely nice and heavenly!!
My recommendation (what I always order) is menu “31” with extra spicy.... muah, it’s out of this world.. What’s menu 31? Check by yourself in their menu😉

Really very good Indian restaurant for the people staying near to Merheim. The taste I found here seems more authentic than other restaurants that are in Neumarkt. Chicken biryani, Chicken Tikka and Lamb Tikka masala is a must try from this restaurant. The speciality of this restaurant is that the spiciness is added based on what you ask for. Unlike other restaurants adding chilli powder for the dishes to make it more spicy... These people definitely add a few authentic spices to make it spicy as we do in India. Overall it was a nice experience! Kindly note that sometimes the restaurant will be crowded and it's expected to book you table...

Wow.
I eat a lot of Bengali inspired food in the UK and this compares with the best of them. The quality of the ingredients are superb. Marinades are excellent for the meats. The salad, which oft goes unordered in Indian restaurants and is therefore usually basic, was super fresh, beautifully tasty and expertly presented. The portion sizes are good and the price is fair.
As for service, the gent who took the order and delivered the food was perfectly professional and friendly and clearly sets himself high standards.
If only this place and the this team were in the UK.
