Stopped by on a Thursday night. The restaurant was packed. Not sure if it is always busy. Or if it was more busy than usual because the next day was a public holiday. Liked the look and feel of the restaurant. However, the tables were very close together, so it was easy to overhear your neighbours (or be overheard). The restaurant was packed and there were only 2 servers (taking orders and serving food), so it took a while for our food to arrive. It took more than an hour for our main dish to arrive after ordering. We ordered a couple of spicy (Mezcal) margaritas and totopos w/ guacamole as a starter. Both were very tasty. The totopos were not homemade. The guacamole was homemade. They gave us a generous scoop. And, it was delish! Our main dish was very good. I ordered the blue corn quesadillas with chicken (“tinga”). It was served with a side salad. My friend ordered the tacos with pork (“pastor”). We enjoyed our mains. And, would order them again.

It’s hard to find good Mexican food outside North America, but this place does satiate my cravings. Not only with food, but the atmosphere. It has a very warm and nostalgic environment. I like to order a mix of tacos and share with a big group. Had ‘El Machete’ cocktail and it was genuinely one of the best cocktails I’ve had in months. It had a slushie ball in the center of the drink that was delicious. The second time I ordered the drink, there was no slushie ball and it wasn’t nearly as good, a bit unfortunate. Definitely recommend to any Americans missing a local Mexican place, I wouldn’t say it’s as good as what we have back home, but still hits the spot. Their salsas are especially good! I recommend the appetizer ‘Trio’.

A decent Mexican restaurant where you can order various tasty dishes and refreshing drinks or get them delivered to you via Lieferando. Although some food like the tacos Al pastor were delicious, and on point, their burritos were skinny and missing basics such as rice and cheese, and their quesadillas although generously filled with chicken, lacked cheese which is the whole point of that dish, hence the name… We ordered the casita mix, and walked away pretty satisfied in terms of hunger, but again only the tacos were remarkable. Bathrooms located below. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Service is fast and friendly, available in English, Spanish and German. Payments accepted with cash or card.

What rude people work there.. my sister and I got there to ask for a table. We got told to wait 10 minutes. We were OK with that. We waited and 10 minutes later another girl took us to our table. We had already ordered drinks. After another 10 minutes another girl came to our table and asked us to leave because the table was reserved for another couple. We told them that we already got assigned the table and we will stay. We asked the Girl who gave us the table if eveything was ok, and she “said yes ofcourse there was a mix up. The manager is the one who took you to your table so it’s ok”. So we ordered and ate our food. We did not have time to finish our starters when they gave us the main course right away, also ordered a drink I did not get. When we got the par to pay and leave, the girl says: “you are not welcome here anymore, because you took someone elses reservation”… ummm no we did not. We told her how we felt and that it upset us, the only thing she could say was by card or cash? I told her I would pay if they treat is normally. Then ANOTHER girl (who I have not seen al evening) starts yelling at us and making comments about our looks and clothes (mind you I am very pregnant at this moment and showing, so very classy of you lady). We paid and left. Had to let out a little cussing back when I walked away. I Will not be treated like this and this. The food was good by the way,...

Was very excited to go here. But next to the great food, the service is not good.

We did not make a reservation. So when we went there, we asked for a table. That was possible after waiting for 15 minutes at the bar. Which is no problem ofcourse. So we did. After a while, a waitress brought us to our table. Perfect!

Then after having our drinks and being ready to order, another waitress came to us and asked us to leave because another couple had a reservation for our table. This confused us, because her coworker gave us the table. So sorry, that is your own fault. We did not leave.

After a while, another coworker explained us that a mistake was made, and since the manager (apparently) gave us the table, it was all okay. We thought: okay that’s a relieve, so this is all done now.

It was not. After dinner when we went to pay, the girl at the cash desk reprimanded us one more time for not making a reservation and ‘stealing’ a table from someone who did. We were not taking this blame. The waitress got us the table after we waited patiently at the bar. So this was not our fault. We tried to explain that one more time.

Then some girl who was standing there, maybe a coworker, maybe a friend of the waitress, started shouting at us and calling us names. Very rude.

Would not recommend. They do not have their...

FYI: I ordered online, so this is solely about the Food Quality. Because they got my order wrong, I got my money back. Image being upset enough to still write a bad review...

When I looked inside my 15€ Taco box I was stunned. two puny little tacos, barely filled. Is this supposed to feed someone?

Luckily I got a burrito. "Luckily" I thought, before it all went downhill. When I bit into the, absolutely carelessly wrapped, burrito I had to find out the hard way, that it was filled with 50% ice berg lettuce. So 50% of the burrito was a tasteless, watery crunch. Where in Mexico has anyone ever had anything like this?!

It's supposed to be juicy, full of taste. Flavors bursting out of the meat and sauces. You want that? Well your'e not getting that here. I had the Pastor Burrito, in case you wanna give it a whirl yourself. honestly 30€ for that? I would've cried all night long.

The Tacos have potential, the whole place does. But they gotta dig deep to create something to be proud of. Until...
