Pizzeria Margherí — Restaurant in Cologne

Ignore the old photos (I added some of our Pizzas), this is a new place now. Much lighter and cleaner than before. Went there on their 2nd day of business and their Pizzas are easily among the top you can get in Cologne. We especially liked the Spicy Boy with Chilli Honey (it's not super spicy so get it!). All Pizzas were as you'd expect them from a real Napolitan place. Service was also excellent, our kids ordered the wrong Pizza and they replaced it on the spot (took less than 5 min) with another one although it was our fault. Prices are more than fair. Der Charme des alten Lokals, das Gefühl nach Hause zu seiner Familie zu kommen, das heimelige - es ist weg. Die Möbel passen nicht mehr zum Rest, es wirkt leer und aufgeräumt. Es ist viel lauter im Gastraum als früher. Das Ambiente hat spürbar gelitten. Die Karte ist abgespeckt. Nudeln gibt es gar nicht. Eine Tageskarte, die liebevoll auf eine Tafel aufgemalt wurde, fehlt nun auch. Es gibt auch vorab kein Brot mit Dips oder Ähnliches. Verschiedenste, ausgewählte Weine fehlen. Es gibt zwei kaum schmeckende Hausweine, die überteuert sind. Der Service räumt den Teller schon weg, obwohl einer noch isst. Das Verhalten des Personals, die Aufmachung und die Ausrichtung der Karte entsprechen eher einer Pizzabude, die nun seinen Schwerpunkt auf Lieferando und Co. zu legen scheint. Zum Ende gab es auch "nichts aufs Haus", was früher hier wunderschöne Abende gut abgerundet hat. Alles in Allem wirklich unfassbar schade. Positiv: Als Kunde für Lieferungen und Pizza to go werde ich dem Geschäft treu bleiben, da die Pizza geschmacklich nicht zu beanstanden war (aber nicht zu gut wie früher). Fans der napoletanischen Pizza werden hier zufrieden sein.
