I had the extraordinary experience of dining at Kohinoor for the first time today.
Having lived in NRW for almost two years, I was on the lookout for a good Indian restaurant. I had tried a couple of places before, but I was never fully satisfied. After today, I'm happy to say I’ve found the best one!
First and foremost, the food was excellent. We ordered samosas, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, mango lassi, and desserts: ras malai and gulab jamun. The samosas were delicious, featuring a crunchy crust and flavorful potato filling, accompanied by amazing dips. The mango lassi was delightful, even garnished with rose petals, and the desserts were a chef’s kiss—especially the ras malai, which I highly recommend.
The environment and ambiance were peaceful and enjoyable, with soothing Bollywood instrumental music playing in the background.
The service was excellent as well. Both the owner and the server were friendly and kind.
I highly recommend Kohinoor to anyone who misses the...

The moment we started eating, we were instantly transported back to India. The fish pakora was delicious, and the samosa chaat was truly outstanding. My wife chose the Chole Bhature, which was perfectly spiced, and the chickpeas were cooked to perfection. I opted for the lamb biryani – the portion was generous and the flavour simply fantastic. We also had the mango lassi and finished the meal with kulfi, both of which were delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I am more than happy...
