There are times I've wished I'd walked away from a place and this is definitely one of them. Finally was able to make reservations and upon arriving, was seated directly in the sun. As my skin started to redden and burn, I asked about another table (there were a few available). Waiter asked me three separate times if I had a reservation.... Was finally moved, after the waiter made it clear this was an inconvenience. Seriously?! If your customers are unhappy and frying, do you really think they are enjoying themselves enough to come again let alone suggest visiting to others? Drinks took forever to arrive. Saw other tables just leave money on the table and walk out. It's not that this place was that busy, it's just that poorly managed. While looking over the menu, the waiter (same guy, with blond hair in a bowl cut) grabbed the menu away from me so he could give it to a table behind me (guess it's lucky I photographed it so I would know the food options). As for the food, it was ok but not great. To add to the experience, there were small spiders raining down on me (about 1 per 30 seconds) all throughout the meal. For reference, I was under an umbrella. It seems they don't wash their umbrellas at the start of the season/ever, so insects nest in them. Overall, I couldn't get away from here fast enough. We wanted to enjoy one of the warm evenings we are getting by having some nice dinner in a nice ambient. We got the latter but the food and drinks were disappointing. I ordered a ginger and lime lemonade and it tasted like anything but that. It was definitely not self-made, although they put pieces of ginger and lime inside for decoration. And the colour was super suspicious. The flavour was so weird and artificial that I could not even finish it. To eat I ordered a burger, which from the looks I expected it to taste quite nice, but unfortunately they forgot to season the patty. My boyfriend didn't find his dish very appealing either. So, maybe nice for a beer on a summer night, but I would not come...

Zuerst war ich etwas erschrocken, dass die Speisekarte sehr kurz war, jedoch war das, was angeboten war vorzüglich. Die selbstgemachte Limonade, das Hauptgericht und die Nachspeise waren sehr lecker und alles war recht schnell zubereitet obwohl recht viel los war. Die Kellner waren sehr nett und alles in allem war es echt schön.

UPDATE 09.09.23:

Wir waren heute als eingeplante Gesellschaft im Zuge einer Geburtstagsparty zu Gast im Körnergarten und haben einige sehr unschöne Erlebnisse gehabt, die jedoch großteils recht eindeutig einem Gesichtspunkt hingewiesen werden konnten - der eine uns zugewiesene Kellner war maßlos überfordert!

Wir waren 28 Leute, jedoch wurden nur 25 angekündigt (und dementsprechend auch nur für diese Anzahl gedeckt). Für die weiteren 3 wurde recht schnell Platz geschaffen und Besteck bereitgestellt... Jedoch keine Stühle, keine Wassergläser oder Teller... Das wurde einfach (bis zum Ende) vergessen.

Es wurde nur einmal am Anfang nach Getränken gefragt, jedoch nur die Hälfte der Leute. Ebenso wurde der Aperitif nur an 50% der Leute verteilt... Wenn man Getränke auf "Zuruf" bestellt hat, kamen diese frühestens nach 10min, durchschnittlich nach ca 30min oder wurden einfach vergessen (wenn man bei den Bestellungen nicht übergangen wurde).

Der Kellner war sichtlich überfordert und wirkte dementsprechend auch gereizt (auf Nachfrage nach einer Blumenvase wurde pampig reagiert), teilweise musste er leider auch im Tagesgeschäft mitarbeiten, hat selbst aber nur selten Hilfe erhalten.

Einen kleinen Punkt möchte ich noch anmerken, dass die Vorspeisen deutlich anders vorgestellt wurden, als sie uns tatsächlich geboten wurden.

Als Restaurant für 2-6 Personen, würde ich den Körnergarten jederzeit stark empfehlen, nach dem heutigen Tag jedoch nicht als Lokal für eine groß angelegte Feier... Etwas scheint in der Organisation nicht geklappt zu haben, was ich...
