OCAKBASI — Restaurant in Dresden

RUDE WAITER, This is my fourth and last time visiting this restaurant, and the other three times were very good, this time was a disaster, the waiter was beyond rude, I was there with my 3 year old Daughter, and I was simply showing her the skewers of meat in the glass cabinet, and i asked one of the chefs about being able to mix the skewers, the waiter basically told me to sit down and go back to my table, I am a chef and have worked over 30 years in restaurants across the world, and this was an example of rude bad attitude towards paying customers, the lady who was obviously a manager defused the situation and was very pleasent, and said he didn't understand me, as I dont speak German,but he continued to mumble under his breath as he passed my table, it left a very bad impression, and I will never return there again, if he doesn't like his job he should concider working somewhere else, not in the service industry, it spoiled...

This place is amazing! It’s a very nice decor and beautiful place that looks like a real good Turkish restaurant. The staff welcomes you right away and is very friendly and accommodating.

The food is very delicious. We tested it twice. First we had grilled veggies skewer and a lentil soup. I never had such flavorful veggies without oil. Also, it came with an appetizer with a dip and bread from the oven. Simple but amazing. As desert we had something warm with phyllo dough and pistachios. Incredible.

Second time we tried their chicken skewer and köfte. It was delicious as expected by then. We also tried their künefe. I haven’t had such a künefe in a while. No gooey mozzarella cheese and not overly sweet. Just perfect. Needless to say that we waited a bit longer to get a second serving.

The food is normal, there are vegetarian positions. One of the dishes had hair in it, but that's not even 3 stars. And for the fact that everything is very slow. Yes, there were a lot of people and people were standing and waiting for a table, but in order for them to sit down, other tables have to be vacated, meanwhile we asked for the bill three times, waited for it for a total of 30 minutes and already started to be late for our business, this is not ok at all. It's ok to wait an hour for food when the cafe is full, but to wait half an hour for...
