If you’re looking for an incredible Mexican dining experience, Que Chévere is the place to be! The tacos are a must-try, especially the birria tacos, which are tender, juicy, and served with the most flavorful consommé. The guacamole is made fresh to order, and their enchiladas and fajitas are cooked to perfection.

Pair your meal with one of their amazing margaritas—they have a great selection of tequilas and craft cocktails that perfectly complement the food. The classic lime margarita was refreshing and well-balanced, but their signature spicy mango margarita was next-level delicious!

Ich mach es kurz, hier gibt es sehr leckeres Süd amerikanisches Essen von guter Qualität zu einem angemessen aber nicht günstigen Preis, inklusive gutem Service und netten Ambiente.

Dabei hatten wir die Tacos (Rindfleisch und Vegetarisch zusammen) sowie von der wechselnden Karte gegrilltes Hähnchen mit Mole, sowie die Tortilla Chips als Vorspeise.

Angefangen mit der Vorspeise die mit Salsa Verde sowie einem speziellen Hirten Käse kommt. Diese fanden wir sehr lecker, die Salsa schmeckte sehr gut und passte ausgezeichnet zu dem eher frischen Käse. Ob die Chips selbst gemacht waren, kann ich nicht sagen aber lecker waren sie definitiv und gerade dass sie direkt in Sauce kommen, gibt ihnen eine interessante Textur weil außen leicht matschig und innen Knusprig.

Bei den Hauptspeisen bin ich auch überzeugt. Die Rindfleisch Tacos waren sehr saftig, sogar so saftig dass eine leichte Pfütze um die rum stand. Geschmacklich ebenfalls gut, aber hauptsächlich "Rindfleisch" Aroma anstatt Chili oder andere komplexe Noten. Klar, man möchte die Qualität des Rindfleischs herausstellen, ich persönlich hätte aber trotzdem lieber etwas mehr Komplexität bevorzugt. Überrascht hat uns aber der vegetarische Tacco: dieser hat genau die Komplexität die mir beim Rindfleisch gefehlt hat und das sowohl texturell als auch im Bezug auf den Geschmack. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich definitiv die vegetarischen Tacos nehmen. Ansonsten hätte ich bei der Sauce auch lieber Mole oder etwas vergleichbares gehabt anstatt den Sourcream (?) basierten Dip. Ebenfalls nicht so ein großer Fan war ich von dem Gurken Salat: dieser ist Soja/ Seasm Öl gewürzt und das passt für mich nicht so recht zum Rest des Gerichts.

Was uns zum Hähnchen mit Mole bringt. Das Fleisch war saftig, gut gegrillt und mit ner guten Portion Mole übergossen, die außerdem wirklich sehr, sehr lecker ist: sehr "reichhaltig", schön komplex im Aroma mit ordentlicher Schärfe die sich nach und nach entwickelt. Auch war der Beilagen Reis sehr lecker, schön gewürzt ohne dabei zu stark zu sein so dass man den Reis selbst noch schmecken kann. Der Salat war außerdem frisch und knackig, aber wieder mit Soja/ Seasm Öl Dressing.

Zu guter letzt hatten wir Horchata, als Getränk, was ich vorher noch nie gehört oder gesehen hatte und welcher mir sehr geschmeckt hat: es ist etwa wie gesüßte Reis Milch mit Zimt und sowohl Geschmacklich als auch in Sachen Textur sehe interessant.

Dessert war leider aus, sonst hätten wir ein genommen.

Service war sehr nett und schnell packt einem Reste gerne ein... Wenn man lieb fragt gibt's auch extra Sauce ;]

Weil das Restaurant aber sehr klein ist, sollte man definitiv reservieren.

Insgesamt bin ich sehe von unserem Besuch hier angetan. Ich würde 4.5 Sterne geben, da das aber nicht möglich ist, zücke ich ausnahmsweise mal 5 Sterne, gerade weil es doch recht einzigartig hier in der Region ist. Klare Empfehlung obwohl es nicht gerade...

The best Latin food I've had in a while.

As I live in London I am used to find Latin food over there, but the tastes, seasoning and Latino love put in this food was fantastic, a whole different level.

I know, I am a bit of a romantic when it comes to explain how I feel when I eat proper Latin food :)

I wish I could have eaten more, but unfortunately I had already eaten something.

I highly recommend this place, for its Latino roots, because service is second to none and because food was freshly made and with high quality ingredients to guarantee the best joy of flavours in one's palate.

Thank you everyone for having given me the best Latino food experience I could have wished for.

By the way, it is recommended to book a table as it is very busy. Otherwise you will have to try your luck to find a table for 1 hour or so before table has been booked for.
