Alcantara Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

I have not tried the food here but judging from their super "friendly" service I doubt I would ever step in there. My daughter had a bad stomach pain and needed to use the toilet urgently. I know it is up to the discretion of the establishment to allow the usage of toilets but they flatly decline us. I offered to pay to the two ladies at the counter for using the toilet and told them it's my 5 year old who needed it use it badly but they rather rudely declined us. I have never been declined by any restaurant whenever my little girl needs to use the toilet. To flatly refuse a kid.. is an excellent way of showing how customer oriented this restaurant is. Ever since they opened, my family have always wanted to try this place but now we will spend our money elsewhere. Good luck for future children , family members with your kind of attitude...truly...

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Spaghetti was cooked to perfection and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The pizza was amazing, with a perfectly crisp crust and generous toppings.

The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and ensured that everything was to our liking throughout the meal.

The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and cozy, with dim lighting and a rustic decor that added to the overall unforgettable...

Wir hatten am 3ten Adventswochenende am Sonntagmittag '23 im Alcantara gespeist. Sehr schönes Ambiente mit toller Rundumsicht, offen gestaltet mit bodentiefen Fenstern, wir mögen das. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Tische nett eingedeckt, Restaurant pico bello sauber und nette Deko ringsum. Auch die Toiletten sauber und gepflegt... Nun zum Essen... Wir hatten einen Mittagstisch zum akzeptablen Preis mit Bruscetta inkludiert. Dazu einen Salat Caprese (Mozzarella und Tomaten), einen Salat mit Thunfisch und Ei, Maccaroni mit Huhn und Pesto, Penne mit Schinken und frischen Broccoli und eine Pizza 🍕 Diavolo mit zusätzlich 2 Sorten Aufstrich (Knoblauchpesto und Chillipesto), dazu noch einen Chardonnay und einen Chianti sowie ein Softgetränk. Das ganze für knapp 60€, ein super fairer Preis für so gutes Essen und Qualität. (am gegenüberliegenden Weihnachtsmarkt verlangte man für eine verkohlte Käsekrainer und kalte Pommes mit Glas Glühwein 15 €).... Da geh ich doch lieber das nächste Mal wieder ins Alcantara 👊🏼💯 22.09.24 Wir waren wieder da und das Essen war wie beim letzten Besuch sehr gut! Zum Abschluss wäre aber noch hinzuzufügen: das Restaurant könnte mehr Getränke am Tisch verkaufen, wäre die Bedienung etwas aufmerksamer und würde nicht die ganze Zeit hinterm Tresen am Handy rumdaddeln...Schade wenn man für jedes Getränk die Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienung...
