Café nebenan — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

It's like being invited to chill in someone's backyard. Cozy and the portions are huge compared to the German standard. Very friendly owners. Explained everything in English. One thing that I didnt like and hence 1 star down is that the service mindset is quite traditional. The place was half empty and I was placed at a single person table. I ordered breakfast so the seating wasn't comfortable for eating. However the lady refused to seat me at the empty 3 people table just for eating my sandwich. I ordered cake and asked to be placed at 2 people's table as I will just eat my cake and leave. But overall nice people...

The best thing about this cafe is its atmosphere. Even though it is located on the side of a huge street with tram, the plants isolate it from outside. This makes it very cozy.

The only reason I didn't give five stars was the menu. It doesn't have much variety, but if you just want to get a normal drink tea or coffee it's very good. The prices are also...

Nettes kleines Café mit gemütlichem Außenbereich, freundliche Bedienung. Beim Frühstück leider nur “Aufbackbrötchen” und die Etagere und der Tisch waren extrem am Wackeln. Leckerer Kaffee, aber koffeinfreier Kaffee und auch Hafermilch kosten jeweils 0,50€ extra. Auf der Karte standen noch die alten Preise, die dann durchgestrichen waren und die neuen Preise standen dahinter. In Abhängigkeit vom Produkt waren Preiserhöhungen zwischen circa 15 und 50 Prozent erkennbar. Insgesamt nachvollziehbar, da auch die Einkaufspreise auch entsprechend verändert haben. (Beispiel: Extra Nutella von 0,50€ auf 1€ erhöht) Der Kuchen war ok, aber schon vom Vortag. Die frischen Kuchen sollten eigentlich im Laufe des Vormittags kommen, aber als wir im 12:30 Uhr gegangen sind, waren sie noch nicht da. Leider nur Barzahlung möglich, das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
