English: Worst..dinner till date :-( I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that some people will not agree to what I say. But what I am writing is my experience together with my friend when we visited this restaurant yesterday. Being an Indian, ‘Diwali’ is most prestigious festival, and to celebrate this holy day in ‘Dusseldorf-Germany’ we went to have traditional Indian food to this overhyped restaurant. But believe me I was disappointed and frustrated with the food quality and quality of service respectively. Looks like food was made tasteless on this special occasion to serve for the innocent customers. And on top of this is the service. It was really pathetic. The attendant was misbehaving as if he owns the restaurant and has all pressure on his head. I know how good the owner (Manager) and some of his staffs are, but this guy is disgrace to the restaurant I feel. Advice: Not aware of Indian cuisine: THINK BEFORE YOU GO.. don’t keep high expectations Aware of Indian cuisine: Don’t try as quality always differ here rather try KIRTIS Dhaba. Mostly taste is consistent. To Kirtis Restaurant: Please make special day special with quality of food on service. To owner(Manager): I Know You are very good and humble Human being and always try to give quality service to customer, but may be one of your employee don’t know the value of serving to customer. Since it was Diwali we all kept quiet and thought giving review is best option to let all...
Read moreI recently visited Kirti’s Restaurant during my trip to Düsseldorf, and honestly, it felt like a warm slice of India in the heart of Germany.
From the moment I stepped in, the ambience stood out—subtle Indian décor, soft lighting, and a calm, welcoming vibe. I was greeted with a smile, and the service remained friendly and attentive throughout.
As for the food—absolutely delicious. I ordered the Paneer Butter Masala and Garlic Naan, and both were spot on. The spices were perfectly balanced—not too heavy, not too bland—just the way it’s meant to be. My friend had the Tandoori Chicken, and it was juicy, smoky, and full of flavor. We also tried their Mango Lassi, which was refreshing and creamy—probably one of the best I’ve had in Europe.
One thing I appreciated a lot was that they asked about the spice level and adjusted it just right for us. The staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the food.
The portions were generous, the pricing was fair (especially for the quality), and everything came out fresh and hot. Also, they have good vegetarian options, which is always a plus.
If you’re craving authentic Indian food in Düsseldorf, Kirti’s is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be going back the next time I’m...
Read moreAlthough many of my friends had lot of complaints about food quality occassionally, i was lucky perhaps never to face it ( or escape it) . Good things first. Mango lassi is a must have with any dish. Naan bread is as fresh as it can get. Buffet lunch on weekdays. Sabzi korma is delicious
On the flip side, some curries on few days feel a bit stale, which i just avoid usually and enjoy what is good. Unfortunately, dont have many good things to say about the hospitality. Depending on the mood of the waiters, they can be anything between cold to rude. They cant seem able to treat each and every customer with respect and dignity. Although listened to suggestions, i felt they were on deaf ears as things didnt change much over time. No, I'm not fussy about how hospitality business shall treat customers and definitely not someone to be critical and leave a negative review even though i dont like it. But, the attitude shown sometimes is plain ridiculous and make you feel not to visit again despite food. Hope they will learn how to be courteous and one day i would hope to go back there to eat with a...
