FOOD & DRINKS Japanese cakes, sweets and other snacks are the reasons you want to make a visit here. I had a yuzu cake, a dango and a parfait. Everything was delicious. To be honest, nothing here is really special. Everything is very simple (except the parfait maybe) but done good. SERVICE You order at the counter but the staff is very friendly. ATMOSPHERE One part grocery store, one part café. It has its own charme. Very limited seating available inside. RATING Looking for a place to enjoy some Japanese flair and snacks? You have reached your destination. It is no fancy café but a nice place to relax or spend some time with your laptop and do some work.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Matcha Café Wakaba and I must say, it was an adorable place! The people who run the cafe were extremely nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It's clear that they put a lot of love and attention to detail into everything they prepare. As the name suggests, their matcha drinks are a must-try! However, they also offer a variety of food options that are equally delicious. No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. Overall, it was a spectacular experience and I highly recommend visiting it

I saw this place on gmaps when looking for good matcha cake. I thought it’s matcha cafe so it can’t get wrong. Went all the way to Oberkassel in a quiet area. The place is cute and cozy. The personnels are very friendly. The matcha latte is really good but unfortunately the tapioca bubble is a bit hard. Matcha brownies were good. We ordered karage and unfortunately it wasn’t good, not crispy or chewy, doesn’t taste fresh, I think they reheat it in microwave. I may go back for the matcha latte and brownies but not for the meal.
