Always “the place to be” in Esslingen!!! I always go there for breakfast or to enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of kuchen in the afternoon and it’s always jam packed - which explains the slow service. But I loveee and enjoy being there all the time for the best kind of cakes that they have. I have tried vegan breakfast with cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. Vegan breakfast is good and fair. I didn’t see any protein portion in this breakfast variant. They could have added some nuts or sprout based dishes that could have added some protein to it. Overall it is ok. 3/5 Croissant smells and tastes more like an egg than croissant. It is 2/5 for me. Out of many bakeries we decided to stop by FLO. The location is great almost at the end of the old town close to the river. The interior is well designed and has enough seating capacity. They have a wide range of breads, sandwiches, pastries and drinks. The staffs are kind and service was generally good. The quality of the sandwiches could be improved but the pastries were great.
