We heard good things about this place from a local guy we stayed with. He said that this place cares about their food unlike most other tourists filled joints. So came dinner time we went to Il Pescatoria.

We were greeted with truly warm and friendly welcome like we would in Italy and we had the grilled sea bass (this is a fishermans restaurants afterall), alongside with pasta alla scoglio and a pizza. Everything was great but the grilled sea bass was certainly belliiisssimo!! And of course to close the meal we had to order the tiramisu with hints of rum which is perfect.

To top it all off, we made good connection with the waitress and we joked around like old friends. This playful impromptu interaction is rare to be found in this part of Europe.

So if you are in town, don't get trapped in a tourist trap restaurant and enjoy the warmth of Italy here and their second to none cuisine....

I dont know how this place get into the tripadviser, hotel and google recommendations as a good italian restaurant. I wasnt expecting top notch food, since it looked like osteria type of restaurant, but according to reviews I was at least expecting authentic italian food. Well, it is not authentic, neither good. Yes, portions are big, if u are hungry af. But the rest… pasta with truffles is made using chicken broth industrial cubes from grocery store and on top of it added balsamic vinegar?! “Tartufo” is just a name. Italian would understand this… Serving 5eu wine for 30eu, is also leaves me questioning. In italian restaurants I at least expect a good oil on the table, but instead is a fake oil. Waiters dont care much what u order as well, just “do it fast”. All in all, quite bad experience. THIS IS NOT ITALIAN FOOD, and u have to have a really bad taste, if u...

A Truly Authentic Italian Delight! I recently had the pleasure of dining at here! and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me straight to Italy, with a wonderfully authentic Italian vibe that made the experience truly special.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The Margarita pizza was nothing short of delicious, perfectly baked with fresh ingredients, and the pasta was incredibly flavorful. To top it all off, the homemade tiramisu was a wonderful and authentic treat.

Beyond the fantastic food, the staff was incredibly friendly, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. And for wine lovers, you'll be pleased to know they boast a great wine collection and selection.

I highly recommend this pizzeria for anyone seeking a genuine and delightful Italian...

First, let’s start with the food that was simply amazing. We had pizza, pasta, and dessert and loved the flavors. We score the food 5 out of 5. The waiter was very friendly and spoke English well. The restaurant was centrally located in the middle of the city and was a quick walk from our hotel. We called around 6:30pm and we were able to make reservations for 8pm. The only part that we didn’t enjoy as much was that we had to sit at their “annex” location. While the main restaurant was warm, cozy, and inviting; the “annex” was cold, bright, lifeless, not even background music. We rate the annex a 2.5 out 5. This restaurant is definitely a good choice but ensure you stay in the main building and don’t get sent to their annex next door. Other than that, it was a good restaurant.
