Worst experience ever. First we waited for our food for 45 minutes in an empty (!) hall (only some tables booked outside) when a waitress came to say that we will have to wait for another 10. Food arrived after an hour of waiting. Nobody said they are sorry. The plates we received were far from what we expected. When I expressed my concerns a man (I gess a manager) came and said I should read menu better (!!). He said it in raised voice! That made me more than surprised. It compleyely ruined mood for our family. The food was not tasty. Some parts were ok, some just tastless. I left half of my plate. Again, when a waitress came and asked if we liked the food, I told him that it was a dissapointment. The response? - nothing! No sorry, no discount, just an ironic smile. In short - overpriced, tastless and awfull service....

Arrived in town and needed to eat some dinner. Walked around the area and checked out menus, prices, and if they had people inside eating. This one checked all 3 boxes. Staff was helpful and quick. Had the (pork) schnitzel with pommes frites (french fries). It was brought out quick and hot, with a lemon wedge for the schnitzel and mayonnaise and ketchup for the fries. The fries were crisp and hot. The schnitzel was hot, seasoned well, and tasty. I didn't save room for desert, but they had a variety of offerings. I also had an Aperol spritz that was perfect. Wide variety of wines and beers as well.

The atmosphere was lovely. The building was from the 1600s (photos and drawings at the back of the menu) and they had put some Christmas...

We had a very poor experience last night at a restaurant we have been to many times over the years. Even though we were both double vaccinated and showed the official UK NHS APP the restaurant's scanner machine wouldn't recognise this & therefore they wouldn't let us in!!! The only place in Fussen & Germany that hasn't!!! Including border control at the Airport. Anyway, I phoned the manager today ( as I think it is fair to discuss before putting on a review) And he put the phone down on me & obviously didn't...
