Sir Capulus — Restaurant in Füssen

We made the unfortunate mistake of visiting on mother's Day yesterday. It was very quiet when we arrived, so we sat down at a 4 person table in the sun. We were then asked to move in case a table of 4 arrived - so we moved to a table in the shade so it was freezing cold. 5 minutes later, two women sat down at the same table and were not asked to move. So we got to watch them enjoy the sun. Then we were told that we couldn't order from the normal menu because they had a mother's Day menu. So we were forced to order from that. The normal menu looked really good and this place has good reviews, so we figured this special menu would be good as well. Wrong. We paid €38 to make our own breakfast. We paid €38 for two plates of tasteless ingredients that we couldn't finish because it was SO BORING. We could have had free hotel buffet breakfast and I'm sure it would have been more interesting than this. The "airy scrambled egg" was burnt, tasteless omelette. I've never been so disappointed with a breakfast in my life. I really don't understand how any good chef or business owner could think that this was a good idea. What a horrible way to exploit customers on mother's Day and make them pay a ridiculous amount of money for food that tastes like less than sticking your tongue out...

Such a fun place for a drink and some brunch! The staff are just so friendly and eager to please as well. We had some modifications (wanted eggs cooked thoroughly, etc), and they were so accommodating. We had a language barrier, but they were patient with us trying to translate our order. They nailed it too! We were in Füssen for a week, and came to eat and drink here on 4 separate occasions, because we loved it so much! There are plenty of options in Füssen, but this place has the full package and amazing prices to boot! Go for the brunch, stay for the great service...
