Awful experience with their service. Went there for the 4th time in our yearly visits to Germany, and even brought my sister and her family there under our recommendation. Was pleasantly delighted that the waitress did her best attempt at taking our order in Danish (our native language), but that is where the service started going wrong.

We clearly ordered two small pizzas, a small apple juice and a small coke, but when our order arrived everything was for the large size. We brought it to their attention, and wasn't even given an apology, just a "do you want it or not?". Seeing as how the rest of the table had received their orders correctly, and we didn't want to wait, we reluctantly agreed, but reminded them we had ordered the smaller sizes and therefore could not finish it all. It was to my understanding that they took it as their mistake, and that some of the price would be waived. Come the time to pay, I was first met with a "I can't fix the price when it's in the system", then met with the accusation that I was a liar about having ordered a small apple juice for my 5-year old son, and then finally told that I could've just sent it back and not eaten. While the last part is true, I was still shocked that they even refused to acknowledge any misunderstanding on their part. We found this place kinda by accident, but what a lovely gem! ❤️ The food was exactly what we were looking for, though it might not be striving for a Michelin star. Cozy German vibe in an old style half-timbered narrow alley house. I love the decor. Maybe you should go for a table at the back of the restaurant with an even cooler interior. 😃🙌 The server might have been the owner. He was very friendly, and also spoke good English and a bit Danish as well. 🇩🇪🇬🇧🇩🇰 No doubt I would recommend...

An absolute gem in Flensberg Germany. We decided to come through from Denmark for some authentic German food and it was better than expected. The Metaxasauce schnitzel is incredible. Totally satisfied. The restaurant is beautiful and the owner and staff are amazing They also allow dogs in here. I would give it 10/5 if the rating was possible. Will definitely come here...
