DamDam koreanisches Restaurant — Restaurant in Frankfurt

For me on food alone it was 3 stars (we got takeaway) but for my husband it was 4. Nothing spectacular but tasted home cooked which my man loved but I expected it to be more restauranty and exaggerated, overwhelming in flavour. Had items J and K, both good and tasted strongly of kimchi which was nice. Item J (forget the name) had a lovely smoky taste, a kimchi fried rice topped with fried egg. Item K had plenty of pork some tough some tender in a spicy kimchi sauce. Came with a small white rice. Too hot for the children. Portion sizes ok, I would say for 1 person - prices to that were fair. Nice sides cucumber pickle and bean sprouts were delicious. Would try Japchae next time. Today we went to the new DamDam Korean Restaurant Riedberg (the old Villa Belvedere). It is a 'Soft' Opening and all meals set to the same price. Very friendly welcome, great Korean drinks and most importantly the food was awesome. Honestly it was great and a nice portion size too.

If you want to support a new local, I would recommend a visit, give it a try, and see if you like it or not. If you usually enjoy Korean food, then this will not disappoint.

I missed Korean food, so I went to eat it. I ate bibimbap, japchae, dumplings, and bulgogi with my party, and it tasted the same as I had in Korea, so I really liked it. Not only the taste, but the overall interior was neat and the dishes were well harmonized with the food. The scenery outside the window added to the taste of the food.
