Druckwasserwerk — Restaurant in Frankfurt

This place is a bit out of the way with no great way to reach by public transport for a restaurant in the city although there is a big parking garage next door. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with some tasteful decoration and about enough space to sit 90 persons inside with further space outside in the warm summer days. The attitude of the staff was great, being very friendly and helpful. At this point our night took a turn for the worse. We were in a group of 6; two persons of our group ordered a beer which never came so it had to be ordered again; 3 persons in our group received the wrong order (type of meat ordered) all cooked at the same level although one of them had ordered it different and after same apologies were guilted into accepting the order that had been prepared vs what they ordered. The price/ portion size was that which you expect in a restaurant of a higher quality, unfortunately the quality of the food was lacking. As one small tomato sliced in half and a couple slices of lettuce do not make a salad and the meats were not special and bland. The vegetarian dish was also under seasoned and the pork was average at best. After the meal we ordered coffee and two persons ordered dessert. Coffee came and was finished without sign of the desserts, after asking I was told "if you ordered it, its coming" to which I replied it had been more than 15 minutes since we had all finished our coffee. This was not something that needed to be cooked or prepared to any great extend. 5 minutes after, it arrived. At the end of the night we received a discount on our check without asking to compensate however taking all facts into consideration, it's not a place I can recomend and will mostly likely will not be back...

Wir waren am 21.7.19 zum Brunchen in Frankfurt. Wir wollten etwas Schönes erleben und haben dafür auch den Weg aus dem Westerwald gerne auf uns genommen! Leider war der Besuch alles andere als schön!!☹ Als wir hinkamen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, das das Lokal innen geschlossen wäre und wir nur draußen sitzen könnten. Es war sehr heiß und nicht wirklich erträglich! Aber was hätten wir erst gemacht wenn es geregnet hätte!?😳🥴 Die Bedienung ließ sehr lange auf sich warten und wenn man dann mal bestellt hatte, wurde man trotzdem immer wieder vertröstet. Die warmen Speisen waren leider kalt. Es war teilweise nur sehr wenig ausgelegt. Wenn dann nachgefüllt wurde reichte es gerade wieder für 2 Personen. 🙄🙄 Man konnte nicht immer erkennen, welches Essen vor einem stand. Dabeistehende Kärtchen mit der Essensbezeichnung kennt man wohl in einer Großstadt wie Frankfurt nicht!🤔 Als ich meine Cola zum dritten male bestellte entgegnete mir der Kellner, das sie ja dann bestimmt bald kommen würde!😤 Verarschen kann ich mich selbst! Als wir dann doch mit dem Essen fertig waren, bestellten wir noch 2 Kaffee. Als wir dann nach geraumer Zeit zum dritten Mal nach dem Kaffee fragten und immer wieder vertröstet wurden, bin ich eine halbe Stunde später aufgestanden und habe bezahlt! Auch hier konnte man wieder sehen, dass unprofessionell gearbeitet wurde. Es waren Artikel bei uns auf der Rechnung die wir gar nicht bestellt hatten geschweige denn bekommen hätten! Andere Sachen fehlten wiederum!🤪 Als ich der Frau an der Kasse meine Beanstandungen mitgeteilt hatte, schien es als würde würde sich vielleicht etwas ändern! Als wir uns dann Richtung Auto aufmachten, konnte meine Tochter gerade noch erkennen wie sich ein Teil der Bedienung über mich lustig machten!!😡🤬🤮 Ich habe dieses Haus an diesem Sonntag zweimal besucht, das Erste und das Letzte Mal!! Wenn dort so weiter gearbeitet wird hat das Druckwasserwerk bald keinen Druck mehr und kann dicht machen. Für mich existiert es jetzt schon...

We went there a month ago for the first time for brunch. Just wow! The food was great and there was plenty to choose from. They had one buffet with cold stuff (salads, pasta salad, cold cuts etc), another with warm food (chicken au gratin, czivapcici, stuffed meatballs etc) and another with desserts (créme brullee, cakes, waffles, pretzel, fruits) and bread. The basement where the toilets are shows how old the building is but very well maintained. They combined old/historic with modern and it's really impressive. The view is so beautiful and peaceful. Just by the river bank surrounded by green. One of the nicest places...
