Cron am Hafen — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Restaurant was beautiful, clean and cosy at same time. When we arrived restaurant didn't had our reservation but I had confirm. Thankfully we fitted in. Got email next day how was our visit, so I think I had reservation after all...

No one asked aperitivos and if I wouldn't stopped and added drinks to order, I don't believe anyone would even asked. Lady seemed all the time that we are annoying her in some how. Our main waitor (gentleman) saved a lot of that service.

Startes were good, we shared this plate for two. Nice flavours in almost everything. Vegetables tasted fresh. Totally loved mozzarella. Vitello tonnato sauce was bland.

Risotto with squid was so delicious and recommended wine was perfect fit. Sad of course that when asked wine card from lady I got aswer "yes" but never received wine card. Asked again from male waitor, who brought it. Ordered wine (ripasso) size 0,37, that they were runned out but I'm happy about that . We got recommendation of Brunello. Ofc price was double, but it was definitely worth of it. This gentleman really knows wines. Pasta was over cooked and missed the salt. Taste of truffles was really good and saved experience a lot.

End of the day I think prices are too high when you compare whole experience. For example when you feel that staff in FOH keeps you as a bourdon, you don't want to say about over cooked pasta. You just want to rush yourself out.

And thanks to our waitor, who recommended wine and actually asked how was our evening. That felt good and saved a lot...

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant! Upon entering, I perceived the restaurant as being high-end, so I didn’t think it was necessary to take my wallet out of my coat when the waiter took it. Unfortunately, when I was leaving, he handed me my coat and then my wallet, saying it had been on the floor. That caught me off guard, but I still didn’t think anything had happened. After returning to the hotel, I realized that money was missing from my wallet. The next day, I went back and spoke with the waiter who had served us. He defended himself, saying that nothing could have gone missing and that his boss had everything on camera. They never contacted me in two months and didn’t respond to my email. It’s a well-organized scheme by everyone to steal...

Went on a Sunday afternoon without expectations. It took a long time before someone came to see us for both getting a menu, and having someone taking our order. My wife and me actually almost left. The service itself was also not quite good. We had a choice between 2 tables which both needed to be cleaned, and the waitress clearly wanted us to sit on the less dirty one, but showed her annoyance at us when we asked for other table (which was in the more lively/pretty area). The food was quite good. I had the salmon lasagna and it tasted very good. It was a little bit too creamy for me but that's just my personal taste. Price was fair too. We will probably never go again as it is easy getting the same food quality but in places with a better service...
