Größenwahn — Restaurant in Frankfurt

SERVICE am Gast ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☆ Sehr nett, gut gelaunt, tolle Kommunikation, Kundenorientiert … locker. Nur bei den Klamotten finde ich es persönlich zu locker und bin da etwas vielleicht altmodisch. Bevorzuge eine andere Mitarbeiter Garderobe.

Google Reservierung leider nicht möglich moderne Ausstattung kann so etwas easy Managen… Die Homepage ist auch aus alten Zeiten… :-( Sorry 2022 sollte da insgesamt mehr sein. Telefonisch aber sehr nett.

⭐ ⭐ ☆ ☆ ☆ TERASSE : Da fehlt die Liebe im Detail. Die Schirme sind ganz gut, die Tische selbst ist Geschmacksache. Ingesamt alles lieblos und ohne wohlfühlen… Manch Imbiss sieht ähnlich aus :-(

Das Essen: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☆ Jeder Gang, jedes Gericht war sehr lecker. Geschmacklich volle Punktezahl. Leckere Saucen, Fleisch Saftig, zart… Dessert : selbst gemacht! Espresso war besser als manch Restaurant in Italien! Mhmmmm lecker… Zwar hätte das Essen heißerer sein können, war aber nicht nötig es zu beanstanden. Die weiße Krankenhaus Teller sind dem leckeren Gerichten nicht würdig…

Insgesamt überwiegt also das positive. Da fehlt „nur“ hier und da liebe im Detail.

Für ein lockeren Abend mit leckeren essen also insgesamt zu empfehlen. Möchte ich außer gut essen mehr, wird die Luft etwas dünner. Wähle Gastronomie aus einigen Faktoren…

Das Drumherum geben sich andere Restaurants einfach mehr Mühe… wer so junges Personal hat sollte auch anderweitig mitziehen.

Warum etwas ausgeben wenn es läuft… so wirkt es… zahle gerne mehr wenn alles passt… ;-)

Das Größenwahn ist eine Empfehlung aber es sind auch wirklich nicht viele Schrauben um es perfekt...

We picked this place because we needed somewhere to eat nearby the wine bar we were meeting a friend at - a total local spot with traditional German fare as well as more pan-European food. Would recommend reservations because we almost didn’t get a table (on a Thursday no less) but well worth the wait because we ate venison, beef cheeks and rabbit (they had lots of less game-forward options). The service was impeccable - our waiter translated the menu for us into English spontaneously after watching us struggle with...

Last night we have been at Cafe Größenwahn again and it was a great evening. We were lucky to get a last minute reservation - table for three. The restaurant was fully packed as usual therefore I recommend to book in advance or be prepped to sit a little bit at the bar in order to squeeze in. The food was amazing and super tasty. I've had the delicious lamb in balsamic sauce and afterwards the three peace dinner combo - so so so...
