Ristorante Pizzeria - PAPANOVA — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Well… i am not sure how should i rate this place because for me few factors of a good restaurant are important and they go together. I can rate the food and the quality of food as 5! We enjoyed a lot! The food experience was great BUT we were thrown out from the restaurant before even ordering dessert! We reserved the table long ago. We had a very important meeting and we were 4 people. The lady who served us was good, But there was another waiter who seemed so annoyed by us. He was mostly serving us apart from other girl. We came from far away cities( the restaurant is in Frankfurt but we all came from other cities just to meet up) After finishing the dinner we were about to order the dessert when the waiter came and told us to get out. He brought us the bill already🤷🏻‍♀️so all the great food experience and our mood was spoiled. Because of that we all had to struggle to search another cafe or just to fetch smth on our way before we start driving. So just because of one waiter our drive to Munich got too late and uncomfortable… It is really no problem to let us know that we had only specific time slot to finish our meal and we would gladly obey the rules of the place, but nothing was told or communicated. Will i visit this place or recommend it to spend a nice evening?? Honestly i...

I think we will all agree that waiting for over an hour for your food is unacceptable. Asked where our food was when tables that arrived 10-15 minutes after us were eating. The first waiter (later discovered he was the manager), said a couple minutes. 5 minutes later, our waiter walked by so we asked him. Kinda of got a run around until we clearly pointed out the other tables. He checked with the kitchen and they lost our order. This was at 45-50 minutes at a table. 15 minutes later we asked for the check for the drinks. No one came back, so I walked inside and the waiter that said “a couple of minutes” more than 20 minutes ago was bringing the food. Said I wanted to pay for the drinks and asked for a manager to express my displeasure. He told me he was the manager. Asked if he found it acceptable to be waiting for food for over an hour and pointed out that he lied to us about our order.

He gave the two drinks to us for free, but that was more to avoid the discussion of their mistake in front of other customers.

Bottom Line: we are now former “regular” customers. I could have handled a mistake, but not lying and general lack of concerns over...

Well, I was told what a great place this is, but I'm afraid I can't agree. The pizza was good enough and brought to us quickly after ordering - and these are the only positives I have. The list of negatives us a bit longer: first of the staff could have been nicer and more attentive (after we were seated and had our food, nobody checked on us again. When we ordered a second round of drinks, they unfortunately never made it to our table). The water stains on our cutlery wasn't too inviting, neither were the blankets instead of cushions on the chairs. And then there was the music! We were seated in the back booth, small enough (4 tables for about 17 people altogether), the speaker is mounted above the door and kept continuesly playing at a rather high volume the same Ed Sheeran song over and over and over again... which made conversation impossible!! Don't get me wrong, I like Ed Sheeran, but in the end I couldn't take it any more. It was a bit like being brain washed!! And it was just in our booth, no music in the rest if the restaurant. After today's experience, this was my first and last visit...
