Vogelsbergbäcker — Restaurant in Frankfurt

As someone who close by, and buys daily at this wonderful, outstanding, service -gracious, heartwarming, family-run bakery, it breaks my heart to see one-off people , who seldom come by, whose only objective via google reviews is to vent their own angers, and knowing full well the destructive powers of social media – they unfairly unleash such reviews to our common space. Have you spoken to the owners – who are there every day ? or is it just your nice habit to ruin someone else’s reputation – and consequently – our wonderful, heightened quality of life – since this bakery opened several years ago here? So dear Vogelsbergbäcker staff: please keep on doing exactly the same wonderful work you do every day, and keep on making us happy with your products and your service – which you so hard work for. We – the clientele who live here nearby – we see your hard work – as we take the Strassenbahn at 04:30 in the morning to catch a flight from Frankfurt airport at 06:30 – and we see you already working from those early hours of the morning, or basically every morning when already by 07:00 in the morning –as our kids wake up go to school – they can have fresh bread for their daily sandwiches – which we buy early on from you – thanks to your work at night – for that 07:00 o’clock warm bread roll. Just ignore bad energies – and intellectually dishonest reviews such as these below – and press on regardless with your good work

I feel like the quality has been cut down in the past months, and this is very sad. I think I had the worst products this morning, when I went to purchase some fresh Cinnamon rolls to bring to the office, and - to my surprise - I found out that they were very stale and old, likely leftovers from yesterday. I bought these rolls at 8:30 am, a time when I would expect a good bakery to have fresh products for its clients! This has already been happening for quite some time, when I go there in the morning, hence the review, I hope it's going to change something because this really used to be my favourite bakery...

Zuerst: es schmeckt wirklich lecker und selbst die heiße Schokolade kann man mit Hafermilch wählen, was sehr gut ist. Vorsicht ist bei den Getränken aus dem Kühlschrank geboten. Hier fehlen Preise. Für ein großes Wasser werden an der Kasse 5 € fällig! Da bin ich vom Glauben abgefallen. Hier fühlt man sich über den Tisch gezogen. Preise am Kühlschrank wären hier das mindeste um die unangenehme Situation an der Kasse zu vermeiden. Ebenfalls teuer sind die Kuchen. Die Stücke fallen wirklich sehr klein aus. Insgesamt kein günstiger Bäcker, die Qualität ist aber gut.

Update: Ich habe meine Bewertung angepasst auf drei Sterne. Inzwischen gibt es Preise an den Kühlschränken.

Die zwei Sterne Abzug gibt es für die meiner Meinung nach noch immer sehr hohen Preise und ständigen Preiserhöhungen sowie die teilweise sehr überfordert wirkenden Mitarbeiter. Wieso muss ein Wasser so viel kosten? Wenn das Wasser im Einkauf so teuer ist liegt hier das Problem. Dafür will ich als Kunde doch nicht büßen.

Zum Thema unfreundliche Mitarbeiter ist beispielsweise schon öfter folgendes passiert: Wenn man ein Dinkelbrötchen bestellt bekommt man das viel teurere Dinkel-KÖRNER-brötchen in die Tüte und wundert sich an der Kasse wieso der Einkauf so teuer ist. Ich achte aber inzwischen drauf, dass mir das nicht mehr passiert! Achtet man nicht drauf passiert es...
